Hi all!

In today's video I am going to show you the most important things when it comes to miniature painting - how to thin paint, how to prepare your brush, how to apply the paint and more. I really hope that this video can help all of you better understand how to Glaze and Layer paint and give you more confidence in miniature painting in general. When I understood how to do those things, it has changed my miniature painitng life and I became a much better painter.

If you have any questions - let me know in the comments below and I will be happy to answer them and help you on your journey.

Thank you very much for supporting me – it means the world to me! I dream of being able to paint and make tutorials full time, so if you like my Patreon – please tell your friends about it. It would make a massive difference to me and hopefully it will be beneficial for your friends too :)

Best wishes,

Mamikon

Damn, that sword looks slick! One day I'll get there!

I figure different paint brands will require different amounts of water to achieve the same consistency as shown in the video. I'll try to find the right ratio for mines. Does environment temperature and humidity also influence in the consistency of the paint?

I've been trying to prep glazes on a wet pallet is that something I should or shouldn't do? it seems like glazing is one of the most important skills to master but even after following tutorials like this or watching other creators like Vince V. It just hasn't quite clicked yet I have noticed trying to do lighter colors when trying to do nmm or skin is harder, and I often get a chalky look.

What are your thoughts on glaze mediums instead of water?

Sm3g_h3ad

Is clear tape your 'go to' choice for a pallette, or do you just use it for preparing glaze consistency?
