Getting back to work tomorrow (Patreon)

I can't put it off any longer, I've got to force myself to get back into the booth and try to put all the emotions aside. I still catch myself coming down the stairs and calling out to Diva like I expect her to be laying in her bed waiting for me. She's ever present in my thoughts, so much that I haven't been able to fully concentrate on anything for more than like 15 minutes without completely losing focus, distracted by her and feeling so sad. I'm glad she's not suffering, but I miss her so much.
We're actually considering rescuing another mature dog as company for Diesel, and if I'm being honest, to heal my heart a bit as well. We're meeting a 6 year old Staffy/Kelpie cross on Sunday who needs a new home because her family is moving to another country. I spoke with her owner at length yesterday, and she honestly sounds perfect. Hoping she and Diesel hit it off on Sunday. If so, I'll introduce you to her as soon as we know for sure. Cross your fingers!I just posted the monthly Members Only poll. Sorry, it completely slipped my mind until now. I wrote a Black Friday themed audio, and just need to come up with 2 more improvs or scripts before the end of the month. I also have some projects to work on, and a new game to audition for.Lastly, I would like to run another script contest. I'll make an official post about it tomorrow.
Thanks for everyone's kind words and patience with me. I just had to take some time to process my feelings and spend some quality time with Daddy and Diesel, and even more by myself. I put together a huge album of her pics and videos to share with her original owner, who was planning to come see her when we returned from vacation because we'd let him know she only had about 3-6 months left. Calling him to say he missed seeing her one last time was hard, because so did we.Hopefully she's doing zoomies somewhere...
