On a personal note, I know I've been quiet for a bit. I was sick for several days at the end of September, and Daddy's kids started school holidays on September 30th which means that I haven't have time to record anything with them always here. Luckily, school resumes on October 18th and they will be spending a few days at their mom's house before then, so I'll have time to catch up!

Honestly, I think I'm suffering from either a small wave of depression or burnout, because I have really been struggling with motivation lately. Maybe it's because my hands have been tied not able to record with his kids around on their school break, (at least I hope that's all it is), but I'm determined to whip myself into shape and get back on track, so don't lose faith in me!

Does anyone else go through phases like this? I am famous for being extremely hard on myself, and I think I'm just making it worse by feeling like such a failure, when I should just be looking at it as a well earned little break.  Easier said than done I guess?!

I don't think you'll be able to see it as a little break. I'm afraid this will only feel like a time wasted. If this is the case then you just need to take an intentional break for a couple of weeks, perhaps? Go somewhere with Daddy like you did previously. And you don't need to tell me about Patreon obligations. Personally, I'd rather you cut half of the month's content than shut it all down completely because you can't take it anymore.

I think we all have periods where we struggle with motivation. Creative endeavors are even more difficult to turn on and off. A real break from the normal routine should give you a better recharge. Hang in there and before you know it, those kids will be grown up, we will be old, and there will be lots of requests for old people fantasies. :-)

Yes, other creatives go through this, to varying degrees. You just have to take care of yourself and ride it out. I personally usually start a passion project to inspire me, even if that means regular projects have to get neglected for a bit.

I think everybody goes through periods where they lack motivation creative or not, something I do especially the last few years is to set goals..daily goals weekly ones ect. It may sound corny or trivial but it really pushes you to get shit done, and if you don't, then that's when you can be hard on yourself for being lazy or whatever..also time off is usually well deserved and not done often enough so don't fret you've got a loyal fan base.
