Yeah, sometimes jokes don't translate well from one language to another. I lived in Honduras for two years and learned enough Spanish to try and be funny in Spanish but it didn't work all the time. I'm comfortable with both imperial and metric systems because the conversions are easy enough to remember and the math is easy enough to do.
