🔞Process: CamGriddleHark (TLT) (Patreon)

Process images of the recent sketches plus some CSP brushes info. I thought this could be interesting to see.

As usual, my concept is incredibly rough. So much so that the Harrow-centric piece got a second sketch stage haha.

I also ended up redoing Cam and Harrow's kiss. Initially I couldn't place the finger on what was actually wrong, except that they look like they're melting into each other. I ended up remembering an old kiss tutorial I've seen years ago that gave a helpful tip.

Someone mentioned that you can imagine the shape of a heart around the heads. And with that in mind I redid their faces and voilà - it looks a lot better with some distance between their foreheads (and not Harrow melting into Cam). I could have also looked up some reference, but I gotta say I'm a little proud of myself of remembering that and adjusting it.

Also, I've tested out further new CSP brushes to find ones I really like. Particularly I've gotten the brushes from Frenden to test out. I've seen another artist I like recommend them and thought why not test them out. There's a whooping 800 brushes lmao. They're not free, but I feel the price (15$) is fair enough for this amount.

Particularly I've used these:

The RNG Pencil is the one you see for the linework. The Nash Ridges is used for some shading (like the pillow). I didn't like the Simple Digital Pencil since it's too light for me. I'm not 100% sold on these but they do look like an actual pencil (like a sort of smudgy feel).

The blue correction part was made with this pencil:

I LOVE this one. I have to say I'm a bit saddened I only discovered this one after the sketches were almost done. I really like how this one feels. Plus it always stays the same color blue, which is amazing. There's another one in red and then a general one that changes to your selected color. May try this one more often in the future!
