The Magician is next on the tarot list, who tied together with Paul/Death.

The Magician is the representation of pure willpower. With the power of the elements and the suits, he takes the potential innate in the fool and molds it into being with the power of desire. He is the connecting force between heaven and earth, for he understands the meaning behind the words "as above so below" - that mind and world are only reflections of one another. Remember that you are powerful, create your inner world, and the outer will follow. (Labyrinthos)

Harrow, to me, was such an obvious choice for the Magician. I could have also seen maybe John (but he's already the Emperor, obviously). But Harrow showed such willpower with her constructs in GtN that I cannot see anyone else with this card.

Similarly to the Rider Waite card, the four skeleton constructs will depict the four minor arcana symbols.

Hope you enjoy <3

I love the look of the skeletons, and then depicting the minor arcana is a fun detail

love it!! I agree harrow is a perfect choice for this card. Also: half-baked but realizing the potential connection of "as above so below" to the "top thought/middle thought/bottom thought" struggle in Nona...

Thank you so much <3 Unfortunately I am stupid and I don't get what you mean with the nona reference... :')

Emma

nooo not stupid!! it is honestly only mentioned briefly in one specific part of the book, while she's trying to cling to herself while driving that big van near the end
