500 years ago, Talaquetzal, an indigenous Central American native girl was raped by Spanish Conquistadors inside of an ancient temple. Enraged, the long forgotten Sun God materialized and tore the Spaniards apart. Aroused by the naked girl's beauty, the Sun God mated with a grateful Tala as his final act, transforming her into a goddess and the champion of the native lands!

Tala possesses well over Class 100 strength and is incalculably strong. Tala is immortal and doesn't age beyond 18 years of age. Tala is immune to all diseases and cannot be harmed or killed by conventional means. However, she can be injured or killed by other godly level forces or strength. Magical spells and abilities with sufficient enough power, could not kill Tala, but would annoy her temporarily. Tala does not require food, water, air, or sleep, but occasionally enters a sleep-like meditation to dream. She can survive in nearly any known natural environment, including deep space and underwater indefinitely. Tala possesses the ability to fly, even being able to leave Earth's orbit. Her top flight speed remains unknown.

Tala possesses enormous mystical abilities, most of which that she is still discovering. She can generate disintegrating energy beams from her eyes capable of instantly killing all but the most powerful mortal beings. Being a goddess, Tala can mentally hear prayers from her worshippers and can also bestow mystical power upon her faithful who know how to call upon her for it or those who have earned her favor.
