Content

Hello guys,

today I want to talk to you about a topic that sometimes causes me a little stress. And it is the issue of development time and I am going to be honest with you. When I am creating the scenes I try to make them as good as possible and many times I have to redo animations and renders several times because I am not happy with the result and that is why it takes me longer than normal.

But when I have time pressure on me I lose motivation and I start working without hesitation because I'm thinking about the speed and not about how I would like the scene to turn out. I understand them and I know that they like the game and want to see content as soon as possible but quality takes time to work on.

This is just a conversation so that you understand that the monthly release system is no longer viable as we add more branches to the story and have to cater for more content to all possible branches..

So we have decided to change to a release schedule where we can release a reasonable amount of content while maintaining the quality when the update is finished. We will work on the content and have a work plan to have no more than  3 months between releases and you will of course always be updated on the progress on our Patreon page.

I will continue sharing with you the entire work process here and please remember that you are an important piece in the project.

We hope you understand our reasons for making this decision. We always think what's best for the game.

I'm not sure about others here, but I would much prefer longer and better quality updates over shorter rushed ones to make a monthly schedule. When devs do that I tend to wait a few updates anyway just so I have more new content when I play it again.

Fine by me. It's the quality of the visuals and the writing that drew me to contribute. Keep them up and slow down if you must to do so.

doing quality computer and artistic work obviously takes time. Don't listen to people who pressure you and see the growing number of supports. everyone wants quality work and that's what you have always done.

you guys are doing an amazing job with the game. time pressure and creating quality content do not go together very well. when the passion for the project is high and there is not so much constriction thats when the magick happens. thanks for communicating
