"I'll close it if a dementor charges us," Sirius gestured and opened a portal to the beach on Azkaban.

Mist pulled his holy sword out of his inventory and stepped through the portal, doing his best to ignore the unnerving feeling in the air.

Feat Achieved! Set foot in a cursed location despite knowing better.

+1x 'free' roll on the Curse Gacha wheel.

Mist glared at the curse wheel that appeared in front of him and started spinning, rather annoyed that he'd gotten cursed despite having a plan. He scowled when the wheel stopped on Disease. You have the fabled anime death disease that keeps killing all of those overpowered characters, causing you to be weaker and reducing your energy levels. Over time, this disease will keep getting worse and worse until you can find some way to treat it. You probably don't even have a full year. You've been awarded one random Platinum ticket for the trouble.'

Mist used his curse breaking ring on himself and scowled when nothing happened, proving that the disease didn't count as a curse or that his ring wasn't powerful enough to fix it. "Fucking curses," he grumbled, knowing that he'd probably have to boost the hell out of something to cure the disease and that he was on a time limit.

"Is something wrong?" Sirius asked.

"Apparently Azkaban counts as a curse worthy location," Mist replied as he channeled his magic through his sword and unleashed a wave of Holy Light toward the dementors flying toward them. He felt slightly better about the entire mess when the dementors caught fire and 'died' screaming in agony as their tattered and burning remains fell to the ground.

Feat Achieved! Kill the Unkillable, kill something that was thought to be unkillable.

+1x Legendary Ability Gacha Ticket

"Yeah, that tracks," Mist muttered as he unleashed another blast of Holy Light on the dementors that were fleeing, proving that they actually had some sense of self preservation.

Sirius stepped through the portal and let it close behind him, fairly sure that the dementors weren't going to swarm him with Mist tossing spells that could burn them to ash.

Mist resisted the urge to start taunting the demons as he started tossing balls of Holy Light everywhere in an attempt to keep the dementors contained on the island. He probably would have felt worse about the screams of pain coming from some of the cells because of the light leaking in but considering it only hurt dark creatures, he didn't feel all that bad.

He spent ten minutes running around the prison conjuring balls of Holy Light and making sure there was nowhere for the dementors to run, despite the aurors on site trying to dispel the Holy Light in some twisted attempt to save the dementors.

Feat Achieved! Cleanse Azkaban, drive the dementors from Azkaban.

+1x Diamond Random Gacha Ticket

Feat Achieved! Destroy the Unholy, destroy every dementor in the world.

+1x Diamond Random Gacha Ticket

Mist smiled as the last dementor crumbled to ash and he saw the achievements. 'Diamond ranked cards, fuck yeah!' he thought as he slipped past a pair of guards and flew back toward the area he'd left Sirius. He landed next to Sirius. "Let's get out of here and grab some ice cream, we've earned it."

"This is going to be hard to conceal," Sirius said as he opened a portal back to the Lovegood property.

"That sounds like a problem for the ministry," Mist replied as he walked through the portal and dropped his invisibility.

"True," Sirius agreed as he walked through the portal and closed it behind him, fairly sure he could have made the best patronus in the world with the memory of the creatures' screams.

Mist used his Piercing Eyes ability to check the cards. 'Tinker: RWBY, allows you to build technological constructs or contraptions from the RWBY Universe including Dust synthesis, I guess that's somewhat useful. Tinker: Alchemy(IV), allows you to design, modify and build technology and technological constructs related to alchemical reagents, potions and production of those items. You can craft incredibly potent potions such as healing potions that restore limbs perfectly, mana boosting potions, ultra steroids, and permanent buff potions that grant physical traits up to Epic Tier and many more alchemical reagents. Huh, that's a little insane.'

Sirius glanced at the rook shaped house then turned and headed for the street.

Mist opened both of the Tinker cards then looked at the next one as he followed Sirius. 'Phoenix Zoan? Allows the user to transform into a Blue Phoenix or a hybrid at will. As a Phoenix, they gain increased physical abilities and flight alongside extreme regenerative abilities. They can also emit powerful flames that can heal people. Huh, I didn't know I needed to turn into a Phoenix but I'll take it.'

He opened the card then checked the last card. 'Swords of Revealing Light, allows you to create and control swords of light that when impaling a target seals their energy. Stronger targets can resist this effect. That should help with the Black Ajah.'

He opened the card as he absorbed the motes of light from the others, getting another slot which brought his total up to fourteen slots. "I really need better defensive abilities or maybe I just need more traits or gear because one death curse and I'm dead, especially if the spell destroys my body so I can't resurrect myself."

"I suggest dodging death curses but getting a dragon hide vest and leggings should help with the rest," Sirius suggested.

"I'll put it on the list," Mist agreed as he used his Diamond Draw ability, giving him an ornate platinum amulet. He cast his identification spell on it. "Huh, that's nice."

Sirius glanced around at the people that were wandering around, wondering if any of them had seen the necklace appear. "What does it do?"

"It lets the user teleport anywhere they can see with a one minute cooldown, which is pretty good if you can't actually apparate," Mist replied as he opened his inventory and went looking for a necklace that he could merge with it in an attempt to keep the enchantment.

Sirius relaxed a touch when he realized that no one was really paying them any attention as they went about their lives. "We should test if you can go through apparation wards with that."

"I'll add it to the list," Mist replied, making a mental note to get a notebook so he could write his list down because it seemed to be growing. He pulled a silver necklace out of his inventory and used his Synthesis ability to merge the necklaces, causing the metal necklaces to merge and change into a cheap looking necklace of crystal beads.

"Was that supposed to happen?" Sirius asked, curious why the metal necklaces had transformed into crystal.

"It's always a bit random when there's chaos energy involved," Mist replied as he cast his identification spell on the necklace. "Huh, that actually dropped the cooldown to thirty seconds."

"So it's better?" Sirius asked.

"Apparently," Mist replied as he put the necklace on. "At least I'll be less likely to get mugged over it."

"True," Sirius agreed as he spotted the old fashioned ice cream shop. "Looks like the place is still open."

"Great," Mist agreed, looking forward to getting some ice cream and chilling a bit while he figured out his next move.

"This would be easier if the system actually listed the rarity of the powers," Mist grumbled as he finished adjusting his collection of abilities, selecting the abilities that felt the most powerful since the Wheel of Fortune tarot card swapped abilities for abilities of equal rarity.

Selena pulled her attention off the girls that were trying ice cream for the first time and focused on Mist. "Yeah, but it would be less amusing for the 'people' in charge."

"Still annoying," Mist grumbled as he looked over his list of currently active powers, slightly annoyed that he'd lose the ability to create gates for an hour but he'd created a backup ring and he still had the train if he lost all of the places he could travel because it was temporarily replaced.

"Stop overthinking it and just use the card," Selena told him. "Worst case, we just take the train for another spin and you can avoid having the Gate Creation ability active the next time you swap it."

"Fine," Mist grumbled as he turned to look at Hermione. "Start the timer, one hour."

"Alright," Hermione replied as she started the timer on her watch.

Mist used his second Wheel of Fortune card, swapping all of his active abilities for new abilities and giving him a case of brain freeze as he suddenly got a lot of information about his new powers dumped into his head. "Tinker: Androids, Greater Enchanting, Future Observation, Tinker: Defense(IV), Tinker: Star wars, Shaper, Regenerative Immortality, Megamap, Grant, Capture Tokens, Arbor, Lycanthropy, Weather Report and Geass: Memory."

"Congratulations on Greater Enchanting, how does that compare with your skill?" Selena asked.

"I can stick traits on items rather than only being able to stick stuff on items if the trait has an actual power. Huh, damn thing has copy protection, give me a couple of minutes to fix this," Mist said as he grabbed one of the crystal rings off the counter.

"Okay," Selena replied with a shrug, not sure how he was going to fix the power.

Mist sighed when he mentally reviewed the rest of the powers and realized that one of his powers was going to require some setup. "Wait, the Grant power should let me give people a lesser version of my Enchanting ability which should let the channelers give people copies of talents," he explained as he pulled his portal ring off his finger and gave it to Selena. "Grab all of the channelers you can get so I can give them a version of enchanting once I've got the basics."

"On it!" Selena said as she ran for the portal back to town so she could grab everyone.

Tori followed Selena, figuring it was a good time to use a weave to project her voice to the entire town as it was a chance they shouldn't miss.

"Just line people up along the walls when they arrive, I'll get to them when I can," Mist told Egwene and Nynaeve, knowing they'd handle it. "Everyone else, please be quiet for a bit," he ordered and focused on his Enchanting skill, wanting to make sure he didn't screw things up. He took a breath then let it out to calm his nerves then got to work imbuing the crystal ring with the Greater Enchanting power, skipping the copy protection completely as he wasn't using the power to copy itself. He cast his identification spell on the ring once he finished it and sighed in relief when he didn't find any issues with the ring. "Okay, that takes care of that."

"Were you able to fix the power?" Wendy asked.

"No, I just copied the power with my enchanting skill, it's not a trait and the power didn't have anything stopping me from imbuing the power in a ring, I just couldn't use the power to make the ring," Mist explained as he focused on the rest of his active powers, trying to figure out which items to make next. "How long did that take?" he asked Hermione.

Hermione glanced at the watch she'd picked up in the scrap yard and repaired. "Eight minutes."

"Okay, the rest of them should be faster," Mist said as he grabbed a ring and started making a ring that would give someone a copy of Amy's power, finding it a lot easier since he wasn't having to fight his own Enchanting power. He finished making the ring then he reached over and tapped Hermione's arm with his finger and used his temporary Grant power to give her a lesser copy of his Greater Enchanting skill. "That should let you enchant stuff, tell me if it's worth giving to everyone, I'm going to make items for the rest of the powers."

"Alright," Hermione agreed as she hustled over to the collection of jewelry so she could start testing her new power.

0o0o0

"Done," Mist muttered as he finished giving everyone in the line of channelers a version of Enchanting, extremely happy that the Grant power didn't cost mana since nearly everyone they'd rescued from the mirror worlds had shown up along with all of the girls in town that could channel.

"Thirty seconds," Hermione told him, not looking up from her watch.

Mist quickly pulled a bracelet out of his inventory and used his Enchanting power to make another magical item that would let someone grant a lesser copy of an ability.

He tossed the bracelet in the pile of enchanted items that he needed to sort and grabbed another bracelet from the box of assorted jewelry that wasn't magic and repeated the process with the last of his mana. "Out of mana."

"And time," Hermione said, relaxing since she was done watching the clock.

Mist relaxed when the card's magic wore off and all of his active abilities swapped back to what they should be. "Now I just need to tag everything and figure out what items to combine."

"No, now you need to relax and have some ice cream," Selena told him. "We still have our shiny new enchanting powers so you're going to sit here and relax."

"I meant eventually," Mist replied as he glanced over the rather large collection of items he'd enchanted during his enchanting spree. "I'm fine with taking a break and having some ice cream while I try to relax."

"This is going to be fantastic," Bri said cheerfully, looking forward to seeing if she could make talent granting magical items that would let people make ter'angreal.

"I'm going to make something to make my fire better," one of the accepted said enthusiastically.

Harry glanced at Hermione. "Do you think people would want to be able to talk to snakes?"

"Probably," Hermione replied, sort of curious about his ability. "You might also be able to enchant something that would give people your talent at flying."

"Worth considering," Harry mused, not sure his talent actually counted as something he could enchant.

Mist pulled one of the containers of chocolate ice cream he'd bought with Vernon's money out of his inventory and a spoon and started eating it, not particularly interested in dealing with the mess that handing out copies of his Enchanting power had caused.

"Does anyone want to trade a delving talent for a healing talent ring?" one of the girls asked.

"Yes," several girls called out.

"Quiet!" Tori called out, causing all of the girls in the library to stop talking and look at her. "If I catch anyone testing anything they've enchanted with the new power before it passes a series of tests, I'm going to have the Wisdom beat your ass with a switch until you can't sit down for a week."

"At least," Nynaeve added.

"That's not fair," one of the guys from the mirror world complained.

"Don't argue," one of the local women warned him. "They probably have a good reason."

Selena clapped her hands, getting everyone's attention before things could spiral. "We're not trying to stop people from using the ability that we gave you, we're just trying to get everyone to be careful before we've gone over the rules."

"Rules?" one of the young men from the mirror world asked.

"Rules, guidelines or suggestions," Selena replied with a shrug. "Enchanting isn't the safest profession where I'm from, imagine trying to enchant something to boost your strength and ending up making something that drains your strength or causes your muscles to melt or boil or something else unpleasant because you got distracted while you were making it."

"If it's that risky, why give us the ability?" Alene asked warily.

Selena focused on Egwene's sister. "We're hoping that having Enchanting as a power will let everyone avoid some of the more dangerous problems. We're not asking everyone to avoid enchanting their stuff, we're just asking that you wait until I've had a chance to give everyone a short class on enchanting and the safety rules that we're going to set up."

"This isn't a discussion," Cynric Ablar cut in when it looked like some of the boys were going to protest. "You are going to listen and you are going to follow their directions, they are the experts in this situation."

"Rule number one, don't put enchanted gear on without checking it," Selena told them. "Rule two, unless Mist or I hand you a sheet with the item's qualities, you'll assume everything you make to be untested until it's actually tested. We'll be making a bunch of items that should let you identify the exact effects of every enchanted object, we'll have them available in the library or in the school once it's built."

Mist finished his bite of ice cream. "We'll consider revising the rules after a couple of weeks if we're not ending up with cursed or faulty magical items but I suspect we'll be dealing with these rules for at least a couple of months, if not longer. I don't expect a bunch of problems but you will treat the skill with the respect and caution it deserves or I will find a way to swap the ability for something harmless and if I have to do that, you'll never get it back."

"Sounds reasonable," Lily Potter offered, not seeing a problem with having some basic rules in place for an ability they'd been given.

Mist went back to eating his ice cream as Selena started an introductory enchanting lecture, trying to make sure everyone understood the basics before they got themselves into trouble. 'This would have been a lot easier if I had a bit more time and a lot more mana. Is it worth risking the tarot cards to merge them together?'

He considered the question as he finished the container of ice cream before deciding that it wasn't worth the risk of losing the cards unless he got a third card. 'I can't fix the time crunch but I can fix the mana, I just need to make some Radiation Absorption gear and go back to Fallout.' He glanced at the pile of enchanted jewelry and the sheet of crystal that he'd enchanted as a map that would fill in locations as he discovered them. 'I might as well identify everything before I worry about jumping worlds.'

"The reception is shit," Joseph grumbled as he pushed the button on the old remote, causing the view screen set into the wall to change channels to an old western that he's seen at least five times before and was only slightly more interesting than watching paint dry. "I'm going to melt your face off when I get out of here…" he trailed off as the static got worse and the entire image distorted.

"Fuck you!" he shouted as he punched the force field that separated him from the rest of the prison, fairly sure one of the techs was a sadistic bastard with a death wish as he kept screwing with his stations whenever he found something halfway decent. He scowled as the station jumped to a particularly annoying show with a slimy looking televangelist telling him how he was going to burn in hell.

"I'm going to fucking kill you when I get out!" He pushed the button on the remote, causing the station to swap to a news story.

"In other news, Superman has foiled yet another bank robbery, you'd think they'd learn," the blonde reporter offered with a smirk.

"Fucking heroes," Joseph grumbled as he changed the channel, still furious with Wonder Woman for beating the shit out of him because he'd been trying to punish his ex for stealing all of his money before she skipped town. "Spanish cooking…" he trailed off as the next station had two male luchadores fucking in a ring while a crowd cheered. "Is that Bane?"

He shook his head and flipped through a dozen channels, making a mental note to track the tech down that was messing with him when he escaped and burn his face off. He pushed the power button, causing the channel to swap to a station playing really bad rap while a video of his 'fight' with Wonder Woman played, showing him getting the shit kicked out of him.

He pushed the mute button, causing the volume to increase. "Seriously?"

Joseph played with the buttons a bit, trying to get the damned television to shut off before giving up. "Fucking bastards…" he trailed off as he saw a playing card sized portal appear in his cell. "What the hell?"

Mist finished disabling the microphones in the wall of Joseph's cell using shadow hands then stepped up to the portal so that the villain could see his mask and so his power would have an easier time absorbing the radiation in the room. "Are you interested in a job offer?"

Joseph stared at the section of a strange tribal mask he could see through the small portal floating in his cell. "If you work for Waller, you can go fuck yourself," he stated firmly, not interested in getting mixed up in the bitch's project.

"I don't work for the government," Mist assured him.

"Luthor?" Joseph asked warily, figuring that would be almost as bad as signing a deal with the sadistic warden.

"No, I'm a relocation specialist," Mist replied as he used his Rejuvenation ability on the villain to heal his brain damage, knowing that he'd been a lot more stable before he'd gotten injured, at least according to the comics.

"Let me guess, you need some type of job completed?" Joseph asked, not sure why else they'd want to spring him.

"My client wants a copy of your ability to generate radiation, they're willing to set you up in a different dimension where you won't have to worry about the Justice League in exchange for about ten minutes of your time."

"That's it?" Joseph asked, wondering what the catch was.

"That's it," Mist assured him as he used his Piercing Eyes ability to track the group of heavily armed guards that were making their way toward Joseph's cell.

"What are you going to use the radiation for?" Joseph asked, wanting to make sure he wasn't going to regret the deal.

"Does it matter?" Mist asked, trying to figure out what type of person he was 'rescuing' from prison.

"Yeah, my ability is dangerous," Joseph warned him, a bit surprised to realize that he actually cared what the man used it for.

Mist relaxed slightly, relieved that he was already showing signs of increased mental stability now that the brain damage was fixed. "I'm a hero from another world. One of my abilities lets me absorb radiation to increase my available power, it's completely safe but I need a decent source of radiation."

"If you're a hero, why are you breaking me out of prison?" Joseph asked.

"Because I happen to know that you suffered brain damage which caused most of your mental issues and that proving it would be a bitch. You wanted to be a hero, the world I'm going to send you to needs a hero and I fixed your brain damage so you're probably not going to go on a rampage, do we have a deal?"

Joseph took twenty seconds to weigh his options before deciding that he was probably telling the truth about the brain damage and that jumping dimensions would solve a lot of his problems and give him a fresh start. "Fine."

Mist expanded the portal so the villain could walk through. "You should probably hurry, the guards are on their way."

"Right," Joseph replied as he walked through the portal and glanced around the cheap looking hotel. "Now what?"

Feat Achieved! Jailbreak Special, break a supervillain out of a maximum security prison.

+1x Platinum Random Gacha Ticket

Mist stuck the card in his inventory and pulled one of his power granting bracelets out of his inventory. "Now you put the bracelet on and give me a copy of your Radiation Generation power."

"That's it?" Joseph asked.

"After that, I'll drop you on a different world and you can start your new life," Mist told him as he handed him the bracelet.

"Fine," Joseph muttered as he put the bracelet on. "How do I use it?"

"Just concentrate on giving me a copy of your power." Mist smiled when he received a copy of Joseph's power. "That worked better than I was expecting."

"Great." Joseph took the bracelet off and tossed it to the stranger, looking forward to getting a fresh start.

Mist put the power granting bracelet on and granted Joseph a copy of his Radiation Absorption so that he wouldn't irradiate everyone he got near. 'He'll probably end up with a massive mana pool but at least he can't lose it.' He gestured toward the bathroom. "There's a portal to another world in the bathroom, try not to kill anyone that doesn't deserve it."

"I can do that," Joseph replied as he walked into the bathroom and through the portal.

Mist walked over to the bathroom door to make sure he'd walked through. "There's a camp of homicidal zombies half a mile behind you, they should have enough gear to trade at the nearest town, just follow the old road."

"Zombies…" Joseph trailed off as the portal closed. He glanced around the abandoned town that looked like it had been abandoned for years. 'At least I don't have to worry about Waller,' he mused as he started walking in the direction of the zombies.
