*watch with subtitles and on 1440p* Join me and Welsh Greg 13 miles into the hills of mid Wales as we attempt to be the first people to cross Wales in a completely straight line. Having successfully reached the stash point, we now aimed to cross the half way point and position ourselves high up into the forests of the Cambrian mountains. In this action packed episode we attempt to sneak through a whole village, navigate our way up and down steep ravines, through farms and rivers. Our food supplies would become a serious issue, but little did we know a much more serious threat was looming over us...

Whoop! Whoop!

Guesswatini

Do a straight line mission across Plovdiv, the capital of Bulgaria! https://youtu.be/8C1x2wJ4Cws Please check out the Plovdiv compilation that I made. It will help you understand the reference a lot better.

Brandon Carpenter

Hurry, watch it before he takes it away from us again!

Tony Robinson

43 minutes?? A feature-length spectacle! Good one, boys :)

Jake

My anxiety visibly subsided as soon as the theme song started to play. What a blessed day

Ivan Lychkov

Oh boy!! I'm so hyped! At 9:10, is it really "can see through them" and "can see the other side"? Because I can't. (I mean the subtitles)

Toni Halliday

Aww that must really suck to have to end so soon, but of course Greg’s life is more important. I don’t know anything about his illness, and maybe one day you can do a dedicated video where the money earned on it goes to a charity related to it? Just a thought! :)

Damien Fenton

Totally made the right call at the end but the trip still gave us three amazing episodes. You and Greg seem like genuinely good blokes so hopefully the trip gave you two some good memories too. Love your content and can't wait for more missions. Thanks mate!

Kjetil Vaaga

Lets Go Norway ! Lives in Norway on the west coast :D

Robin Fredriksson

Cool to hear you are going to Scandinavia. If you need help with ANYTHING from someone in Sweden. Let me know.

Cieran McCusker

Can't believe it mate, absolutely gutted for you. Fuck! But I 100% appreciate you not spoiling this for a good 4 months haha. It was very dramatic seeing in unfold as a total surprise. Glad Greg is ok and looking forward to your next missions. Norway, Luxembourg and Scotland - will you go back for a 3rd Wales mission at some point? All the best.

Russell Cox

Did the right thing, but I wasn't expecting this. Good to watch though, that's all that matters

Garan Thomas

My heart rate increases, I glee with excitement as soon as I get the notification. Amazing!!!

Jan Are Melgård

Glad you're both okay. Thanks for another amazing journey. And wow, so cool that you're coming over here to Norway. Feel free to cross my lawn. Genuinely interested to see how you're going to cross this mountainous place in a straight line lol

jeremie

Very good series and once again thank you very much for the subtitles, from a foreigner!

MrDorry

Aww man, what a shame. But ultimately the only call you could make and I'm glad that Greg is OK. But anyway, Third time's the Charm, so don't give up and maybe next year, you can try it again.

semic

Awesome, when are you going to Norway?

Josette Reynolds

Amazing stuff, a great adventure, really enjoyed it. You did the right thing without a doubt, and looked after your friend. Best wishes to Welsh Greg, very brave indeed.

Cake 7176

Too bad it had to end so soon... but atleast youre going to Norway. Im from Norway! cant wait for the video

Conor

Fair play man you have to put yours and Greg’s safety before anything else. It was a great watch regardless and can’t wait for your next adventure. Will always support you on patreon so long as you keep doing mad adventures!

Boezem

I'm guessing the Netherlands are too populated to cross in a straight line. We are flat though, no ravines here.

Kristin Walter

That was such an amazing episode! And I can only imagine making this decision but it's for the best, health is the most important thing!

Stephen Cronin

that was unexpected, but I'm glad you are both ok, healths always gotta come first

Sunil Patel

Some very tense games of theft and shrubbery...

Elena

Ayyyyyyeeee!!!!!

Euan Ford

Loved the vid. Would recommend Northern Ireland sometime 😉

Anirudh Krishnakumar

Brilliant content as always, Sir Tom! I've started going on some hitchhiking adventures of my own now – a bit like a US version of your How Not to Travel Europe series. (I think someone else also mentioned travelling more in an earlier comment). You're a great source of inspiration to us young, adventurous folk.

Allie

Another great mission! Can't wait for Norway!

Shaun Saunders

Glad gregs ok thats the main thing, success will taste so much sweeter after these setbacks

Shaun Saunders

This will make you chuckle, missus asks what I'm watching Me - a guy walking across wales in a straight line Her - how does he get them lined up Me - huh? Her - oh i thought you meant whales not wales 😂😂😂

FoxyFett

Gutted for you but glad you made the right call on this one! I signed up to your patreon recently because you truly deserve the support for these entertain and well put together series and I can't wait to see what else you make in the future!

Harry

I do beg your pardon we are in your garden😂👍

Jack

Glad Greg is alright. Was still a great mission. Easily the best content on YouTube. Excited for the next mission

Allan McLean

Such a good episode - great to hear Greg is okay! Looking forward to the upcoming missions!

Ian Tomlinson

Gutted for you both that you didn't manage to do the mission, glad Greg is alright though. Keep making the content Tom, so refreshing to see something different from the norm and as I have previously mentioned to you, your videos are an inspiration.

Ian Tomlinson

ps - Can't wait to see your Norway attempt. We've all got our fingers crossed you can do it!

Alex Luke

Quality content as always. Glad Greg is alright and was definitely the right call! Roll on the next one

Sagamore

No idea how you're going to get across Norway with all the mountains. Looking forward to it, though!

david oldham

I guessed that was how things were going to turn out. You did a heavy amount of foreshadowing in part one. Greg reminded me of my wife when she goes hypo. Seems drunk to strangers. Greg however seemed able to stop make sensible choices. Not a quality my wife has when she goes hypo. I'll add atkinson disease to my list of potentials when I'm helping an apparently drunk person.

Greg

"My giddy aunt", is a top expression.

Ivan Lychkov

Two more things. The river Wye is called "Why" on a few occasions. And also "Well, mate, we've got to farm right there" instead of "we've got A farm".

geowizard

Cheers Ivan. The subtitles had like a hundred mistakes. I had to go through and change them myself. I think an american did them haha.

geowizard

I'll go through and alter them when i return from my weekend break :)

geowizard

Yeah spot on Steven. Just too many farmsteads, villages and towns!

geowizard

I have not sadly. There's still time though!

Daniel C

Hey Tom, it's not a big deal that you dint make it this time as Greg's safety was paramount. I am sure looking forward to the next mission and am sure you will succeed this time. Great video always amazing to watch and now bring on Norway!

Viniter

I'm just glad Greg's okay. It was definitely a good call... the only call really. You can't mess around with these things. I would not even consider this to be a fail, it wasn't either of your fault.

Josh Chapman

Superb video again. Like for me, the best content on the Tube. I won't give anything away in the comments, but I appreciate what you've done there mate. Looking VERY much forward to what's coming up next. Your drive and energy is infectious Tom. All the very, very best to you, Greg and Verity 🙏

Adam Latimer

Love the video. My gf and I always look forward to these. Glad everyone is safe!

Julien Hauspie

Glad Greg was okay, you made the right call by ending the mission. Quality content as always and looking forward to the next mission!

Rebecca Gowers

Absolutely bloody amazing. I know how disappointing it must have been for both of you but health always comes first. I can’t wait to see what’s next. I can imagine how gutting it was for Greg. I’ve got a illness myself where my body just says no and I’ve got stop but genuinely you both did amazingly and I hope to see him at it again in videos soon!

Sarah McLaughlin

This mission was really enjoyable from a viewer’s perspective even if you didn’t get to finish it. Can’t wait for the next one!

Reid

Did you say that you don't have a tetanus shot? If not, PLEASE GET ONE I'm an archaeologist who gets poked with rusty metal all the time, and tetanus is nothing to play around with.

Reid

WAS THAT A TIME TEAM REFERENCE?!?!

Baz

Video is private now?

Drew Martin

Years from now you won't really remember/care whether you completed the mission but you and WG will reminisce about the good time y'all had.

Tancred

You definietely did the right thing. Glad Greg was okay!

Stuart

Yep. We got pit vipers, brown bears, wild boars, giant centipedes, hornets and mountain leeches in them there Japanese hills.. that should add to the entertainment.
