The final and by far the most action packed chapter in this three part series that sees me attempt to cross the magnificent country that is Norway, in a completely straight line. In this episode, I tackle more steep gradients, nearly die in a ghastly bog, and almost score a screamer on a football pitch. This one is dedicated to all of my beautiful patreons. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for funding this trip and being the life and soul of my community!

Will he survive? A steep last part before the premier league finish.

Gas Pack Man

Love you Tom, happy to be a supporter 🙏

geowizard

Guys YouTube is having a mare with the video quality. It's definitely not on my end. The video looks so much better on my computer than on YouTube. I hope you can enjoy it regardless! Have a great weekend everyone, and again I'll get around to answering your messages next week now I have time :)

satysa

Thanks Tom, I'll just paste what I wrote in the previous post :) It's like back in the day when we were kids...waiting for the big saturday evening TV show to start. Eagerly counting the hours and minutes, getting a bag of chips (or crisps for you Englishmen) ready. And then at 8.15 here in Germany, all finally comes together. Just unfortunate that your videos aren't 3.5 hours ;)

Eilon EJL

I know this was Norway, but I have the urge to watch you cross an IKEA in a straight line. I will donate $100 if you do!!!

Frasier Northcote-Coon

Congrats Tom, what a journey, don’t get “bogged down” by that beckham shot, we’re all proud regardless😂

Sunil Patel

What you say about inspiring people to enjoy the outdoors is, at least for me, true. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I look forward to all the bonus bits and pieces : )

Matej Brnardić

Get in, Tom! Glad you finally made it. So inspiring!

The Sladman

Great job Tom, been looking forward to this every week and it was definitely worth the wait. Congrats on your first successful mission and here's to many more!

Dave James

Yes mate! Great adventure, had us gripped all the way through - congratulations :) do you want a lanyard for your Garmin?!

CR

Get out!!! Jolly good.

Nuutti Kanto

Awesome work from you once again, thank you

Ian

Hope you had a well-deserved pint shortly afterward. Cheers!

Stephen Mason

Unreal mate! My heart was going like the clappers when you was in the swamp

Wester

Amazing Tom! And Olympians can't get platinum either, so you won this!

Gustav Krohn

Congratulations Tom! Amazing to follow your trip, and especially that you do it in Norway! Can't wait for the next adventure!

Daniel Bohrer

You might have missed the goal, but you didn't miss the target. Congratulations to your first straight line! :-)

Lewis Collins

Unbelievable stuff Tom, huge congrats to you. My heart was in my mouth for that big scene!! Cannot wait for the next one

Rune Onarheim

As a Norwegian, that peat bog scene really freaked me out. I grew up with warnings of them. Proper nightmare fuel.

Paul K

Incredible! Was waiting for this video all week. Thank you, Tom!

François Sreeves

Huge congratulations on completing your 1st straight line mission!! Was well worth the watch! Get in!

Christina

Congratulations Tom! And major kudos to Verity being the MVP

rxuz

Spoiler!

Marte Kjelsberg

Yaaaaay, you made it, congrats! Get in! However, please don’t get in any more peat bogs 😱. Like Rune Onarheim says in another comment here, we’re warned of them as kids here in Norway. Better just put on a tune by the Peatbog Faeries instead 😉.

Harrison Webbe

These are the best series’! I love watching every episode and I can’t wait until your next adventure!

Tyler Wrage

GET IN! Super glad to see the success. Can't wait for what's to come.

Jack Wyer

Kieran Bledsoe

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN HE'S DONE IT! LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOO!!!

Ben Hassan

Brilliant as always. Mega chuffed for you :)

Cynshie

Just wow. What an incredible finale. Your exploring videos are what made me sign up to patreon, and I couldn't have made a better decision. Probably the best and most unique content on youtube. Can't wait for more <3

Josette Reynolds

Awesome stuff, one day this will be a proper sport. The bog incident was terrifying. What country is next?

Philip Wood

Christ. Watching you walk straight into that bog made me anxious as fuck. After a close call with a blanket bog in the Forest of Bowland. Anything that looks remotly like that I try to go 25m+ around ;)

Jake

:')

Will Gibson

Having watch you painfully fail the first 2 attempts I'm so happy you did it this time, can't imagine what you feel like, well deserved Tom

Ian Tomlinson

Well done Tom. I was terrified for you when you were in that bog! Could see how much you were struggling and how much pain you were in. Proud of you mate. Heres to the next mission. Enjoy Christmas with verity, you've earned it!

Drew Martin

Congrats! I thought bout Bear Grylls too when you nearly got stuck in that bog. Stay safe.

Aaron Martin

Tom holy shit the bog had me pulling at my own hair!

Chris Crujedo

Damn it was so beautiful out there. I'm glad you didn't follow Artax into the Swamp of Sadness. Can't wait to see what's next!

Unlikely To Help

Thank God you were narrating this, or I'd have had a heart attack at that bog.

Elijah Newkirk

Finish studying for finals for the day and see Norway Part 3. What a perfect little treat.

Thomas Albion

Well done Tom! Thrilling stuff. Was reasonably confident this wasn't found footage of your last moments and still freaked out by the bog so can't imagine what that must have been like to experience first hand. Can't wait for your next mission!

Nicholas Van Buer

Congratulations! Props just for trying to score a goal while trespassing across a football pitch, while dressed as the Swamp Thing!

Oliver Handlykken

Well done! GeoWizard has paved its way towards the top of my favorite youtube channel over the course of a year. If you want an *easy* straight line mission you should consider going to denmark, the kingdom of 0 steep gradients lol

Graham Fox

I knew you were going to survive that peat bog but still. Holy fuck. Didn't you read books about people dying in them as a kid?

Jackson M-B

It seems like it’d be a good idea to do some intense studying of Bear Grylls

simon

CAN'T WAIT to give this a watch today!! I

Jan Are Melgård

That was a superb watch. Well done Tommy lad. Hopefully not the last time you visit Norway!

Conor

Why do people read the comments before watching the video if they don’t want any spoilers? Lol

Eyal Fidel

seeing you reaching the coast was so exciting! this made me really happy, i just wish it was a platinum run :)

Jack. E

Congrats man. So happy for you.

Liam

My man, get in.

Rex Fox O'Loughlin

Congrats on the mission! Thought I'd have a heart attack at the bog stage, we've museums here (Ireland) full of bodies taken from bogs, thought you'd be the next! You said you hoped you inspired people to explore the outdoors, and I have to say that you have. I've been going on hikes around where I live and loving it, all thanks to your videos. Well done again on Norway, hope to see you do another country soon!

Monteph

Well done mate I am so exited for the missions to come! Here's to scotland!

Sarah I

Yessssss Tom !! Only gone and aced that you really deserve that one !

MC Skippy

Well done, good thing you survived the bog hole, i know what its like falling into one of em and there not fun.

Bearthazar

Been watching since your first mission across Wales, finally decided to give you some moolah towards it as your missions are awesome. Much love, Chris from Cornwall

Titus Beertsen

That was awesome, congrats on finishing the journey! Eagerly awaiting your next adventure, ever think about crossing the flatlands of The Netherlands? (Let me know if you're considering it and need a contact). Cheers

Andrew Cowan

Well done! This was a great watch, can't wait for more. Ps. Take a rope! Andy and Jess from Solihull

Jobst Gaus

Thank you so much for every minute of your awesome content. The absolute highlight of my YouTube year. Stay safe and adventurous!

MrFuckingHowMuch!

Bloody great series! Can't wait for future adventures. Thanks Tom.

Sam Grandon

I’ve gone back through and watched the segment from about a minute before Death Bog through the few minutes after and just...man, Tom, your perseverance and the tenacity and humility you showed throughout are so admirable. Also, why am I crying? I just discovered your channel about 6 months ago and it has totally helped change this shit year for the better for me. You’re crushing the game. Thank you for doing this. Get the f in!

Marcus Mtshali

Straight line mission across...Chile?

Nick Seavert

Get in! Shame you sacked those last goals, but many more chances at scoring a goal to come I'm sure. The straight line series is by far the most wholesome content on YT and you've inspired me to continue my own travels. Congrats!

Cianan Roper

Kaliningrad next?? Thats technically crossing Russia right? ...

Christopher Macdonald

Get in! Thanks for cheering everyone up with your adventures, during what has been a pretty grim year. Hope you and Verity have a great xmas when it comes.

Boezem

Next time bring some amphetamines, those will keep the spirits up and keep you going for days . They gave it to all soldiers back in the WWII and Vietnam days :)

Jonas Frich

You need a subscription to actually read it, but the article says that they tried reaching you, but were not succesful.

geowizard

Next one is a secret, then it's Scotland!

Jan Fredrik Eidem

I tipped that local newspaper about his journey. I live about 10 km from where his journey ended so I thought this would be interesting for our local paper. And they published a story, and I got some scratch cards for the tip. :-)
