*watch with subtitles as some speech is quiet*After popping into the abandoned sex dungeon, Ben and I headed to the Duke of Lancaster ship, which I had been fascinated in since it's appearance on my "Abandoned Places #2" Geoguessr video.   Sadly there was no way onto the ship, but we were keen to at least get right up to it and have a poke around, just in case. With security present on site, there was still very much an element of risk and excitement involved..Filmed before Lockdown, edited by Verity.

Hi Tom, sorry for dragging up an old post but this has been quite an Urban Exploring Legendary Location for many years! There have been many attempts to gain entry but the only successful ones involved night infiltration using climbing gear, a bit more involved than you (or most other urbexers) go for. It's a shame to see the ship like it is, there have been numerous attempts to resurrect it but unfortunately the low bridge on the approach precludes emergency service access so it's not able to be opened up properly so will probably rust away into nothing in the end. A shame as it is semi-important as possibly the only British Railways ship left intact. Keep up the great videos :-), Dave

A padlock? What a few episodes of LockPickingLawyer on YouTube for whatever padlock model they're using and you'll be in there in no time using a metal scrap from a can of Red Bull! Anyway, great vid even if you couldn't get in the boat!

Glad Tom made it out there. I added it to my bucket list when I saw that Geoguessr video. Now I checked that box because its probably not worth the cross-Atlantic flight! Keep finding mischief!

Haha as ingenious as that sounds I'm not sure big fat Gwyn or the local police would have gone lightly on us had we pick locked our way into the boat!#

Thanks Brandon. Yeah probably not quite worth that sort of money / effort, but a fascinating hunk of metal none the less!

Cheers Graham glad you enjoyed!
