Loved this one! The ambiance was a nice touch. And it didn’t hurt that I was a massive fan of goosebumps as a kid. I had all the original books. 🤔 still do. The books are silly but I loved all things horror as a child.. Still do 🤔 but as an adult I can get autographed posters of book covers by the artist Tim Jacobus And autographed self help books for rules for life when dreams are dust by Albert Snodoloberm. 🍻

Never Got Famous

You totally cinched it for me mate - I'm going to make this its own series, Albert at a graveyard campire telling horror stories, maybe he's the Death Fraggle that lives in a crypt because he's homeless, the other Fraggles kicked him out of Fraggle Rock....hmmm........

Like the old E.C. comics’s Crypt Keeper. Albert the almost forgotten Fraggle. The Crypt Creeper.. For like Adam (aka) frankenstein’s monster. “I love dead.. hate living” Or in the mindset of goosebumps Do you remember the old nickelodeon show Are you afraid of the dark? They spin yarns of the ghost story variety. But it’s the kids all grown up and instead of just fake horror it’s the real horror stories about being a child star or homelessness.

Never Got Famous

yeah, there's so much there to have spooky subversive fun with, it's nuts - I'm watching Tales From the Darkside again for the first time in forever, and love the little stories even when the productions are a bit wank. Funny you mention that, one of the working titles for the new show was Tales From the Crypt Fraggle...but that not only contains the phrase "Tales From the Crypt", it also has Fraggle in the title, so that's TWO copyright strikes and search engine fails. ("confusion in the marketplace" is what the lawyers call it) Right now, working titles are "Bad Afterlife Bedtime Stories" or "Bad Afterlife Graveyard Campfire" or "Tales From the Graveyard Campfire"

I revisit old shows like Tales from the darkside all the time. That intro like X-files had me locked in. Silly now looking back. But the episode Hush freak me out as a kid. No reasoning with a machine. It’s not good or evil. It was just doing what it was built for.
