A visit from a disquieting puppet... (Patreon)

For this weekend's Albert debut, he joins hands with a little puppet friend and together they remind us that life is all the wonderful and scary things together all at once. I consulted with another filmmaker about releasing this, I had been working on it for a while, adding to it and tweaking it all summer - but then several grim things occurred in the world, and I didn't want people to think that this was a response to any of that. I try not to use puppets to make a point, not directly, I've always wanted to use puppets to go down into the strangeness of things. Muppets always did that to me growing up, somehow they prepared me for the mix of wonderment and nihilism that life was going to be. :) Wait, I don't know if that should get a smiley face....maybe this? :/ Whichever is the pensive emoji. Anyway you lovely folks, you take care and we'll send Albert back to that spooky hotel in the next post. :)
