Albert slips into "Hemlock Haven" (Patreon)

In case anyone is curious, here's the play I was in just recently. It ended up taking so many hours because we started on a play called Looking for Love, then after about a month we all decidied we couldn't make it work, it just wasn't clicking, and so we had to whip up a new concept superquick and try to make it into a stage play. So every night, new lines got added, new blocking (for those unfamilar, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blocking_(stage)), new weird asides kept getting improvised. It turned out pretty popular, folks seemed to like it - but I'm uploading it here because - ta-daaa - I got to use the Albert voice! Since my character had to be angry, I tried it as Albert and the director said yep, that's the ticket. But maybe what I'm secretly doing is getting Albert into the theater company's DNA, so when he's ready to make his full Alberty debut in an NGF stage project, they'll say sure, why not? Doing theater at this level is mostly unpaid or barely-paid, sometimes you get a bit of grocery money. But eventually, if you stick with it, who knows? Some of the theater orgs have actual wages, we might get there....
