Content

This is what I've been up to.

I hope I can release at least a playable build (from the prologue's Temple, before the test) with everything working.

Yeah, there was not enough content to make a quality side game for him. Zack will appear again when I get the Ch:1 done.

why force us to play both if you wont develop both? Its whats holding the game back in the first place

First of, I am not forcing anyone to play the game. I will not write both at the same time because: 1- Zack broke a lot of bones and will take about a month(or more) to heal. This will fit chronologically with Diana's end of the chapter. 2- I don't want to. It makes the writing process more complex.

1. Seems like just a excuse to make more content for Diana. Why couldnt she be the one? 2. Then why make us play both in the first place

I have to agree with BigMac. Also I think if you try to keep making content for Diana then whats the point of having Zack around. Going to be blunt with you what you should of done is split the sections for each character up. Example after you finish the camp you should of switch to Zack and after Zacks section is done you switch back to Diana basically back and fourth. Also having two protagonist means you have to make new characters for Zack unless you already have some in mind but after reading about your current situation you have low income and you are adding more things too your task list. Going to be blunt again but I though you and your team would have finish chapter 1 already but you are sill working on it and is already 2020 so I have to say you might to talk to your team and yourself how long your going to hold on too chapter one. I have complete respect for you and your work but you really need to decide on the protagonist role I understand you want too do two protagonist but its hard to tell now. I mean right after the fight on the boat you should of switch to Zack and not continue with Diana. I really want too see this game completed forgive me for the long post but I do wish you luck I going to keep checking back and see whats going to happen with this game.

Okay, let me be clear about this stuff then: 1> I am not making content “for Diana”, I am redoing all the game. Zack also has a new bone animation. If it looks like I am doing stuff for her, it’s because we are playing “with her”. 2> It would be too hard for me to plan the narrative if you could jump between the two protagonists. It’s important that the players advance the story and are presented by event/story “in a certain order”. 3> I don’t have a team. In January I got a friend to help me program the game, and he is still doing it. Until this, it was me alone. 4> I already planned Zack’s involvement and his party members. It will be a lot of women with encounters that would not work if Diana was the party member solo. 5> I will not say the game will take as long as it’s needed, because I think it would be rude to the people supporting me… But I do have a vision about what I want to make and I am doing my best to make it come true. I hope I addressed all your concerns.
