Just wanted to give you guys a heads up on this really cool free HDA for tree/plant assets made by Mathew Jukes. Its free to use but if you want to donate feel free to do so. Its a great tool similar to Maya's PaintFX toolset but using Houdini's L-Systems.

Houdini Tree and Foliage Tools

Preview of tree and foliage creation and layout tools now available on Gumroad. I've released them as "pay what you want" as my contribution to the community. I plan to keep supporting and improving these tools in future as well as releasing other tools.
