Hey guys! In the next tutorial I am going to be going over the Redshift Hair shading nodes. Specifically how to get some randomization effects and control the hair colors on clumps of hair or random stray hairs.

This will also cover how to change the color along the length of the hair strand. We will wrap up the video with details on how to create our own custom Redshift hair shader node using Melanin parameters and saving it out as an HDA to re-use in our scenes. I will also include the HDA for people to use in their own work. This tutorial will be available July 3rd. Thanks again for all the support!

yep and the awesome part about it is that the custom melanin shader we build can be re-used over and over again. Got to love Houdini and its HDA system. :)
