*Edit* Added the missing JSON file and also renamed the custom thumbnails zip, as these are meant for users who want to manually right click and add specific thumbnails, and some users are confusing this with the ODTools Thumbnail backup which is for the entire thumbnail gallery.

Hey guys! Here is the Patreon Material pack version 2.6. You can find both the OdTools Asset folder version and the Houdini Material Palette in a zip file attached below. I have also added a video going over the installation process for users to get these up and running quickly.

These are great material foundations for people to start with before customizing the shaders further to meet their needs. These are organized into different material categories for easier usage, ranging from gems, raw metals, metallic paints, car paints, plastics, fabrics, hair colors and more. Over 240+ materials, all procedural node based that can be further customized. These are using the new Redshift 3.5 Standard Surface material and also the new Redshift USD Material Builder which works in Solaris or Regular Houdini. The SSS materials have been updated to use the new Redshift Random Walk SSS model. (The addition of which also broke my v2.5 pack for ODtools.)

I will continue to expand this list of materials over time and share it again with all my Patrons as usual when the next version is ready. If you have any questions feel free to ask below. Thanks again for all the support, I really appreciate it and have a wonderful day!

Install Instructions
==========================

OdTools Materials

==========================

Unzip into any directory you want and tell the OdTools Asset Browser to include the directory in its folder structure options. To use the pre-made thumbnails you can unzip the thumbnail folder into the OdTools folder, and you will need to edit the custom S_Materials.json file to point to your install directory. Then you just need to add a new ODTools Asset Browser directory using the S_MATERIALS Environment Variable. Examples below.

Thumbnail Directory
C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\houdini19.5\ODHoudiniShelfTools\python_panels\OD_AssetLibrary_Data

S_Materials.json Should be copied into your Houdini Packages Directory and edited to point to the location of your ODTools Material Pack Location.

Packages Location
C:\Users\Saul\Documents\houdini19.5\packages

Modify the S_Materials Env Variable to the Install Location of the Material Pack

{"S_MATERIALS": "C:/WHERE_YOU_UNZIPPED_MATERIALS"}

The Material_Pack_v2.6_Manual_Install_Custom_Thumbnails.zip is for users who just want to manually right click and add specific thumbnails if they already re-built most on their own.

Houdini Material Palette Gallery

==========================
Place the "Custom.gal" file into the Houdini Home folder Gallery folder. Make sure you enable Redshift as a renderer in the Houdini application preferences. Location on disk for example on Windows it is typically here

C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\houdini19.0\gallery
