you gotta think a bit more greg lol. Singed's daughter is literally dead. Hes preserving her corpse. He said to silco "I too once had a daughter", it doesnt matter if he can cure what killed her considering shes already dead. He has to cure death itself as he clearly said. Also caitlyn is from a renowned family and was installed as head of martial law by ambessa due to that power. Thats why maddie says everone looks to her.

I think the curing death is leading him down this path of insane regeneration and rebirth with the shimmer and Warwick/Vander
