This was a STONE-COLD BANGER!! How would you rate this against the other action thrillers of the '90s??

David Twohy's best writing by miles. Such a classic.

Cody Price

This is the performance Tommy Lee Jones won his Oscar for. You should also checkout The Fugitive’s sequel, U.S. Marshalls. Stars Tommy Lee Jones, Wesley Snipes, and Robert Downey, Jr.

You know, what you should react to? Justified with Timothy Olyphant as an US Marshall. Great TV show. 6 seasons with 13 episodes each.😉

Deranged Rat

Loved the reaction guys. This is up there as one of my all time favourite movies. You should also check out US Marshals (kind of a sequel with all the marshals returning). Its not as good, but still not a bad ride.

This is a really good Tommy Lee Jones role, but I think his role in Nate & Hayes is just as or even better. TLJ is a pirate in that one, some great lines and delivery, a lot of fun action too. And funny enough he's chasing after someone in that one too and he looked like he was having a ball in that film. He even smiles and laughs a few times in it. Highly recommend it, early 80s film but done very well. One of my favorites when I was a kid, still is. As for Harrison Ford I think his performance in Regarding Henry is even better. I also recommend you guys check that one out if you haven't seen it. Stars: Ford, Annette Benning, Donald Moffat, John Leguizamo (small role but impactful role) and Bill Nunn. Oh and a small cameo role for JJ Abrams..

The supporting cast in that show is incredible. Walton Groggins, Nick Searcy, Joelle Carter, Jere Burns, Jacob Pitts, Damon Herriman (Dewey, incredible) Kaitlyn Dever, Jeremy Davies, MIchael Rapport, Ron Eldard, Neal McDonough and Margo Martindale among many others.. I love that show. I think these two would too for sure.

Yes, I totally agree. To be honest, Raylan is only my second favorite character. My number one is Tim Gutterson. Jacob Pitts did a phenomenal job portraying him. I would have loved a spin-off about him and Rachel. And I agree that John and Coy would love the show.😊

Glad you both enjoyed this film. I was 18 when this was released and it was massive even then. These days, though, when I watch it I am reminded of John Mulaney in a stand up special he did in Chicago describing meeting Bill Clinton as a child at the same Hilton ballroom from the final act of this film but gets sidetracked explaining the scene: https://youtu.be/b__lY0vMetw?si=Nc_OHkCiMuevBsen

Love this movie and great reaction. Like to see more TLJ reactions such as The Hunted and Double Jeopardy

I suppose you guys will cover the sequel as well?! U.S Marshalls

Also are we ever gonna get PA 6 and 7?

This is one of my favourites. I've seen it so many times. It was one of my action staples growing up along with The River Wild, Speed, Air Force one and so many others. I love the swelling music as the car drives off at the end. Such an uplifting moment that feels really earned!

Tommy Lee Jones was a definite stand out in this film.
