Prince Akeem comes to America to find his love!! How would you rate this against the other Eddie Murphy joints of the '80s??

Not sure if it was mentioned, but See You Next Wednesday is a recurring gag in John Landis films, including Michael Jackson’s Thriller video which Landis directed.

John you might be thinking of Crocodile Dundee, with the people in the subway trying to get to each other.

That guy at the basketball game that knew Akeem was Vondie Curtis-Hall. He played Ben Urich in Daredevil season 1, the reporter that Karen apprenticed under.

So random and funny story (it's relevant to the movie I promise lol) In grade 6 we were allowed to bring portable cd players to our school and could play cds outside during recess (there was an outlet) well one day a boy in my class brought a Ludacris CD (can't even remember the album) but it had an audio clip from this movie that said "the royal penis is clean your highness" we replayed that part over and over at recess laughing so hard blasting it full volume (and yes there were younger grades around) so FAFO because we lost the CD player privilege for everyone in the school because of that lmfao and then years later I finally watched this movie and it STILL made me laugh 😅🤣🤣🤣🤣
