Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban - WATCH ALONG!!

Stardust_and_Madness

This is one of the best adaptations of the books. Gary Oldman is a phenomenal actor, a chameleon. I truly believe he can play any character he sets his mind to.

Michelle MacNeily

I’ve been waiting for this one, it’s my favourite movie of the series

Stephanie

It's getting even better from here on. Can't wait til you get to The Order of the Phoenix, the fifth one and my personal favourite.

zenscience

Hermione could use the time-turner to get more sleep. I think certain scenes feel a little rushed, especially in the first half but this is still my favorite.

Jules R

all of your questions can be answered by reading the books. It's so frustrating the things they leave out and don't explain. Especially the whole Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs and the whole history of how Lupin became a werewolf, it's such a great addition to the story!

DABSLABOG

the first 3 are the worst 3 for me my order for the films is: 4,dh2,6,dh1,5,3,2,1. Goblet of fire is my favorite book and film. In the first book they tell you why harry has to live with blood relatives. There is a reason he lives in that situation and cant stay somewhere else.

Alexandria

My favorite is the next one: Goblet of Fire. Then Deathly Hallows 1 and 2. The rest is a toss up, I think. If I had to rank them all, maybe: 4, DH1, DH2, 3, 1, 2, 6, 5.

Alexandria

Hermione used the time turner so she could double her class load. Gotta love her thirst for knowledge.

Justtired

As with the books, movies 3, 4 and 5 are my favorites.

joe

just to correct taras comment made in the post discussion. Hermione is not the only mudblood at hogwarts lol. There are many muggle born wizards

Ian Forbes

To pull off Hagrid’s size, it’s a combination of things: force perspective, camera angles, some CGI, but also they often use a person doubling for Robbie Coltrane; either for wide shots/from behind and even from the front from farther back using a full head mask which is remarkably life-like. Watch the scene if Hagrid introducing Buckbeak again and just pay attention to his face … but only if you are okay with never being able to unsee the mask again. 😃 The Corridor Crew guys on YouTube covered this fairly recently if you want to see footage but WAIT UNTIL AFTER the 6th film because they cover some other effects from films between #3 and #6. The spell that Lupin taught Harry to fight off dementors is supposed to turn into an animal. The one he was doing earlier was incomplete and that moment was him doing the spell properly for the first time.

Ana Karen

My favorite one and I love how invested Greg and Tara gets more and more with each other

Argo2Unitard

Lol, it's so funny that Tara just keeps saying mudblood because its like a canonical slur.

A. Saffari

My favorite of the series! well shot. you can also see the young actors beginning to grow in their craft

n e s s y

even though none of them are age appropriate i can confidently say there will never be a better casting for any other harry potter adaptations as the climax of this movie: gary oldman, david thewlis, alan rickman, & timothy spall! what a gift!

mawii yoo

Alejandro González Iñárritu is the one who directed Birdman and The Revenent. Alfonso is the one who directed Gravity and Roma

I'm not done with the reaction maybe later on y'all remember this and correct it but if not it's all good. Good reaction so far. Best part of this reaction is Tara Erickson saying "That's from the ride" lol

KaylaTheKing

I always assumed prof. Lupin pushed chocolate after a dementors attack was because chocolate gives you endorphins and endorphins make you happy and reduce pain so it makes sense of the "why" if you look at it that way lol I always love this movie but truthfully the 4th and 5th movies are my absolute favourites in the series and I cannot wait until next Sunday and the next Sunday after that lol usually I dread Sundays it's new to me to look forward to them lol 🤣❤️❤️❤️❤️

And also she’s not the only muggle born at the school either lol. Tara said she was near the end

Hannah Gs

I've heard they are (of course, ugh) remaking the Harry Potter series into a TV show. But even though it's not one-on-one with the books, and of course JK ended up not being a good person, the original films are genuinely great. There is nothing to be improved upon, in my opinion. I literally cannot imagine a better version for the screen.

Hades

That’s actually crazy that me and Tara both guessed 82% for the critics score 🤔

Tara

With the Patronus charm that Harry conjured, different witches and wizards have a different animal that is created when the charm is conjured. They don't actually turn into an animal the way Sirius turned into a dog. Harry's Patronus is a stag, so when he does that spell people see that white glowing stag. We learn more about this spell in the 5th movie and see what their Patronus animal is. His explanation when he and Hermione were flying away on Buckbeak after he got rid of the dementors made complete sense to me. When he was by the shore of the lake with Sirius about to die, he sees who he believed was his father create the Patronus charm saving him and Sirius and when we get to that point he realized it was him who created the Patronus charm and he wasn't worried about not being able to complete the spell because he'd already seen himself do it.

Tara

I miss Richard Harris as Dumbledore. Michael Gambon is good, but Richard Harris just had a twinkle in his eye and a tenderness in his voice, it was almost like a whisper.

Kasey

Idk if someone else told you, but the time turner was on loan from the ministry. There was a TON of paperwork to get her that, and Hermione did give it back at the end, as she realized she was doing too much work, even for her
