I've seen the first 4 of these in theaters but haven't seen Dead Men Tell No Tales so I'm excited to finally have an excuse to watch it because I thought the first 4 were great but something about the trailer put me off the 5th one (or maybe it was a Jurassic World situation and I was just done after 4 movies 🤷‍♀️ lol) can't wait to see Tara and Aaron's reaction! I was 14 when I saw this in theaters and I funnily got pulled in JUST by seeing Orlando in the trailer because I was in love with Legolas so I didnt care about anyone else cast-wise but him and my teenage heart was not disappointed!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️❤️

These movies are infinitely rewatchable honestly. They did such an amazing job everywhere with making these movies.

As LOTR, The Matrix and the Star Wars Prequel trilogies were all wrapping up, the Pirates of the Disney Theme Park Ride took over the blockbuster summer fandom for a few years before the Superhero era began. Love this first entry by Gore Verbinski, a tone perfect action comedy adventure romance with great performances and a fantastic Klaus Bedalt then Hans Zimmer "Pirates" score :)
