Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End - WATCH ALONG!!

Comments

ButtercupsTrueLove

Thanks for the heads-up! An eyelid speculum is a nifty device to keep one's eyes peeled - it feels great, too!

Jay Rushton

Like maybe the video was messing due to pirate software pun there.

KaylaTheKing

Lol we are "at world's end" and ironically the rENDering is messing up 🤣 I blame Davy Jones 😜

Jason

Hey guys, i just tried to watch it a message popped up ....Says video unavailable Disney blocked your reaction on copyright grounds.

Jay Rushton

Like same the video blocked due to Disney pirate ship is now sunk like there.

KaylaTheKing

It's the sequel to the Rendering issue lol Pirates of the Carribean and The Curse of the Copyrighted reaction 🤣 This movie is being more difficult than I thought it would be 😅

DiscMedia

maybe team up an expert with someone who hasn't watched? idk it starts to feel like a waste of time when the reactors put zero energy into it and contribute nothing, like try anything to be excited about the film like talking about acting or the performance or talk about the lighting'stage/transitions if the film isn't to your liking but don't sit there and mean mug the camera for 2 hours and then cut it down every chance you get i.e the complaining at 2:12:18 ( 2:10:17 movie runtime)

KaylaTheKing

Ok I'm biased because I love this movie and enjoyed the pacing but I also try to remember they thought this was going to be the last movie so they took their time and ended with a bang (in my opinion) so I don't hate it and don't think I ever Will (joooookes on "Will" lol) There's this part of me that wonders if "Homer's Odyssey" comes into play because in that story Odysseus in a ship wreck washes up on the island of Ogygia and the Nymph Calypso fell in love with him and (for 7 years) tempted Odysseus with immortality if he would stay on the island with her so when Davy Jones says she didn't show I wonder if it ties into that mythology because she was busy on the island seducing Odysseus all the while he (Odysseus) was just trying to survive and get off the island and to home to his wife Penelope and son

Do you realize "Streaming Cuts aren't even Theatrical cuts many times?... and we've already seen these movies. that's why we're here.. to watch them again, so why would I want to watch a theatrical or less than that version of a movie I've already seen a million times.

I mean no disrespect but tara and aaron seemed tired lol. This isn't a very complex movie but I guess yall just weren't feeling it this time, which is fine, you can't love everything you watch. The lack of enthusiasm just made it a hard watch for me. It's a shame because this is one of the better movies of the entire franchise in my opinion lol.

Damian

this reaction is better on mute

Angel

Me personally i think this movie is amazing easily second best with the first movie being #1 but that's just me

Jo

I do feel like some of the comments are a bit harsh on Tara and Aaron. When you ask them to watch a long series like this and they get to a movie that is known to have mixed reviews, you have to accept that they also might not love the movie like you do. That's okay! I get people want to hear positive comments about their favorite movie, but I would much rather hear their honest opinions.

Yup! I dig the Pirates Trilogy, this 3rd one has some high moments (Upside Down Ship Flip & Final Battle), but the mixed reviews from fans & critics were real back when the 2 sequels came out in '06 & '07. Like I commented on Dead Man's Chest, both DMC & At World's End ARE overstuffed/overwrought scripts with VERY LONG RUNTIMES one can feel. 2hour plus to 3 hour films that have strong narratives and are well edited don't FEEL long like these last two POTC sequels do. Tara is just being truthful with her watchalong.
