It Chapter 2: I do prefer this one over the first one, not a very popular opinion though. But the one thing I like more about the first one is are gang, I think they feel more like a unit, and this one doesn’t really couldn’t capture what made the group so good in the first movie. But I highly recommend the book, it’s my personal favourite book, there is a lot of stuff that will make you uncomfortable and squirm while reading, but it’s an amazing book. Also I do love that we have been seeing a lot of you two together, I can’t wait to see more of y’all’s reactions.

If you could cast an actor now to play you in 30 years, who would it be?

Billy Butcher

Hello hope you are both doing well. Scooby Dooooo was a fun character. I love the IT movies and can't wait for the series coming out soon. My question is what did you think about the more CGI focused horror and how they approached the younger versions of them scenes.

Hey Tara and Andrew, I don’t completely dislike this film but I felt it didn’t really deliver a third act worthy of its epic runtime, and the time spent following each character’s individual narrative became repetitive and felt too structured, almost like checking off bullet points. Do you think the film used its time effectively?

Can you upload stranger things please, yall said a month ago you'd start uploading them in advance but they've been late the last few weeks again

In the book, IT is revealed to be female and has an egg sack (just like spiders) and tears Eddie's arm off similar to Georgie. Plus Bill's wife gets kidnapped by Bev's ex in an attempt by IT to lure Bill in the sewers again. The Neighbolt House is less important as its just a random location that IT used to attack kids (mainly in the form of a Werewolf) and the final battle took place in the sewers in 1986. While the Loser's Club are fighting It, the whole town is getting destroyed simultaneously by a huge storm (revealing just how connected IT is to the town) and only a few locations remain in the aftermath to be rebuild. The Loser's Club stomps the eggs and Bill's wife gets rescued. Most of the scares are made up for this film (the hall of mirrors, all the third act, the little girl with the birthmark) and this movie adds a lot more humor. Do yall think removing the other aforementioned aspects of the book was a better decision?

Yet another week where YouTube viewers take precedence over PAYING patrons. What a joke

(This is a repost just in case you guys missed it) The creature (IT) true form in the book is described as an endless hairy creature made of orange light which the human mind can't comprehend without turning insane. This true form is only shown to those who stare at his "Deadlights". When the Loser's Club fight IT in the sewers, the creature chooses not to shape-shift and "unmasks" itself to them. But their minds simplifies the creature's true form as a macabre & "hellish" giant black spider with a venomous sting (described as looking as something from an insane nightmare) as that's the closest interpretation we could come up as humans to its true form. Bill almost loses his mind (and almost sees his true form), but he is saved when the creature gets wounded in "real life" by the rest of the group in a sort of spiritual ritual called "the ritual of Chud" where they emotionally fight It through their minds rather than physically (almost like a prayer and making IT feel threatened for feeling like it's nothing). Do you guys think having Pennywise as the final form is better?

Another interesting bit from the book is the fact that Loser's Club as kids had a vision of IT arriving to Earth from another dimension in the form of a giant flaming meteor trillions of years ago (before the dinosaurs). The crater was the spot Derry was built. When the first settlers arrived in the 1700s, IT began his feeding cycle of waking up every 30 years or so. Somehow, IT knew humans were going to arrive. The other strange thing is , his "awakening" and "sleeping' periods always started & ended with a random heinous violence crime from some local of Derry (maybe by mind manipulation). Like in 1904 when IT awakes when a lumberjack murders a dozen men in a bar with just one axe, then returns to hibernation in 1906 when the Kitchener Ironworks explode, killing 108 people, 88 of whom were children at an Easter Egg hunt. The other example being when IT awoke when a father killed his youngest kid with a hammer the morning Georgie was killed in 1957. And the other beign the gay couple getting assaulted after the carnival in 1984 similar to the movie. In all this random acts of crime, IT is involved somehow and plenty witnesses from Derry recall seeing either a clown or a monster sort of creature nearby in all these events as revealed when Mike starts investigating the murders of Derry as an adult. Do you guys wished the movie explored some of IT's backstory with Derry some more?

Jessica Chastain was the obvious choice to play grown up Beverly because her name was highly known and popular to all audiences and studios, but to me she wasn't my first choice since I didn't really see the connection that she was the same girl from the first movie since it did mention that she looked a lot like Lois Lane I would have thought that Amy Adams would have been casted, she seems to me the more perfect choice. What do you guys think? I appreciate your thoughts, keep on living the dream and as always STAY AWESOME 😎👍👍

Chapter 1 was scary for me, it had a lot of horrifying moments for me which is why I enjoyed it and was looking forward to chapter 2 but after watching 2 I didn't feel scared at all like I did with 1. Why is that? Perhaps because the perspective of a child's view of these events in the movie seem more terrifying rather compared to when you are an adult. What are your thoughts? Did you feel the same? Thanks for your intake, keep on living the dream and as always STAY AWESOME 😎👍👍

IT CHAPTER 2 - Like what adult character are you the most alike there. If Pennywise was very smart Pennywise would steal Andrew girlfriend or Tara cats in Derry town.

Dakota Jones

Would this have worked better in your eyes as series like the one coming out now which seems like a second attempt to try again. I still love the 99 one more. The kids felt genuine and while in its second half it dragged where as this second half felt waaaaay to fast, i mean 30 minutes in were already at the Chinese restaurant, did it feel that way for you guys?

Victoria Dobbs

This is not a question, but an interesting fact. Bill Skarsgard would ask the kid actors if they were okay during cuts of shooting both films. He is such a wonderful actor and definitely deserved an Oscar for performing the character Pennywise so perfectly.

Victoria Dobbs

Hey Tara and Andrew after watching the first and second movie which one did you enjoy watching more ?

Savannah

Jessica Chastain is amazing in this and I absolutely adore her! Just wondering if y’all were maybe expecting Amy Adam’s to play Beverly because of the Lois Lane comment in the first remake?

The questions have cut-off times as they are shooting the videos generally at that moment so if it's asked afterwards it will not make it to the video. Sorry! - PLD
