This is my favourite of the Halloween movies. I think because it was the first one I ever saw, and also because Josh Hartnett was in it. I can’t wait to get home from work and watch this - been hanging for this reaction since it was announced!

David Crabtree

This is actually my favorite of the Halloween movies!

Angela Vance

Tera Roxy completely awesome. The best thing to watch before going to work. I really hope you watch all of the Halloween franchise's. With you two that would be 👌 👍 😍 🥰 😘

H2O is the first reboot of the Halloween franchise which ends in Ressurection (both are sequels to the first two Halloween’s and ignore Halloween 3,4,5 and 6) and then it’s on to Rob Zombie’s remakes of 1 and 2. After that, it’s the second reboot of the franchise, which is a direct sequel to the first film, ignoring all event after the first film. It’s a complicated franchise 🤣 I cannot wait for you guys to watch Resurrection because that is, honest to god, one of the worst pieces of horror cinema I’ve ever seen 🤣

Roxy i love ya, but my god, you don't need to fill every silence lol. Poor Tara is in nto a scebe and you are asking her the most random questions lol

Roxy - 'Is it somebody else in the mask?' I neraly spat my coffe out lol

Im happy Roxy and Tara had a blast watching H20....i personally was never a fan H20 one of my least favorite, theres stuffs in it that dont make any sense!!! why Michael waited so long?, how did he know where Looomis lived? and even the Scream 2 sequence on tv was weird lol when in Scream you see Halloween play on tv??? I thought the mask didnt look particularly good in some scenes ( they use a couples of different masks for H20) even a digitize mask!!! ( the cork screw scene) the music felt less Halloween and more recycled Scream movies, not surprising Marco Beltrami (who score the Scream franchise) did additonal music for H20....i wish they brought back Alan Howarth (who was with the franchise since part 2) Halloween H20 had more Scream vibes to it and felt less like an Halloween movie....Halloween 4 was a much better sequel. Fun facts in the original script from Robert Zappia he wrote a scene where a student in Laurie's class talk about the events of Halloween 4, 5, 6 and Jamie Lloyd ....which Laurie was trouble by hearing this and runs out of the class room.....they scrap that scene since they decide to retcon the previous sequels except part 2. The Michael Myers mask in the opening of H20 when the kid falls down on the nurse and see Michael that was the Halloween 6 mask they re-used. The scene where Laurie hides under the tables that was written by Daniel Farrands (writer of part 6) its was in his H6 script they love this sequence so they used it in H20.

We couldn't leave the building when I was in high school, let alone the "campus." The high school was just one building and we weren't allowed outside the walls until the final bell rang. High school gave us just a hair more freedom than prison, but not by much. Granted, the only thing around for miles was corn fields so not like there was anything to go do anyway lol

Once again there's darker scenes causing the crew to be unable to see what's happening. It's crystal clear on my screen so it has to be the amount of lighting in the room (or you guys are using a very cheap Wal-Mart TV lol). Just curious, why do you leave the lights so bright during reactions? There's got to be a happy medium where we'd still be able to clearly see the crew and they'd be able to see the screen. Just something I thought would be worth experimenting with.

I'm going through the full watch-alongs now since this franchise is an October must for me so I'm a bit late, but I got some fun facts about this one: Jamie Lee accepted coming back to this film due to the ending. She was not happy when she found out that he wasn't really dead and only agreed to come back for Resurrection if they killed her off. During this time, she found out that it is in writing that Michael Myers can't be killed off. The actress playing her secretary is the beautiful Janet Leigh, who is Jamie Lee's mom and the lead in Psycho. Her car in this film is the same one she drives in Psycho, including the same license plate. It also seems like you may have missed it, but her line "Everyone's entitled to one good scare" is the same line that Sheriff Brackett says to her in the original when they bump into each other in a similar way on the sidewalk. Additional fun fact: When Laurie tells Molly to drive down to the Becker's, that is a reference to a family in Scream who (no spoiler) mention going down to the Mackenzie's who are also the neighbor's that Laurie tells the kids in the original movie to go to for help.

Doesn't it ruin your viewing experience by not looking up when reboots happen? You're just sitting there all confused, lmao
