The Conjuring 4: I loved this movie, it felt like a breath of fresh air after the third movie. This movie does a good job at closing the chapter on the Warrens, I hope with the success of this movie they don’t decide to go back and make more movies. But how do y’all compare this to others in this franchise.

Troy Accola

Hey Tara and Roxy, love you both! Watching The Conjuring: Last Rites, do you find ghost horror or slasher films scarier after this horror journey, and which would freak you out more in real life?

Michael Medina-Kathuria

The Craft: Hey Roxy and Greg! Big hugs and happy spooky season! This movies is in my top five as a I rewatch it frequently and am a witchy content lover. The performances are top notch and I'm sure you notice that Neve and Skeet are in this film and the first Scream film in the same year. My question is more spiritual in nature. This film is rooted in the fundamentals of Karma through the wiccan rule that anything you send out you receive in return, multiplied by 3. First, do you believe in Karma? Second, in your life have you witnessed or been through a moment where Karma was very obviously at play (whether for you or someone you know)? Can be positive or negative.

The Grudge - would you consider reacting to the original Japanese version (made by the same director and includes the same Japanese cast)? It’s an amazing movie and features plots not included in the American remake. Also if you have seen The Ring, would love to see you guys react to the Japanese version to that too.

RC Flores

The Craft: This movie formed the personalities of countless young Gen-Xers and elder millennials. With which witch (of all movie/TV witches) do you identify the most?

MadLove

Hey Roxy and Greg! Fun fact and question about The Craft. Fun fact: Fairuza Balk (Nancy) was rumored to be a Wiccan due to her buying the oldest occult shop in the area that was going to be turned into a Chinese restaurant, but she has since stated that she was never a practioner and only learned about it after taking on the role. Question: Have you ever been deeply interested in the occult in any way (tarot, crystals, etc.) and tried any spells? If so, what was the spell for?

Lauren G

The conjuring 4: as of now, I haven’t watched this yet, but I’m a big fan of the franchise and will be watching with you! Being that I don’t know how it ends, I’ll leave this more broad…are you happy with the way the franchise wraps up film wise if there are never anymore movies (ignoring the fact that there is supposedly a show coming)?

Nikki Sonrisa

The Craft: Hi Roxy and Greg! Fantastic movie choice; so iconic and very 90s 🤩 My question for you is if you had witchy powers, what would be the first thing you would do, keeping in mind karma and the rule of 3x3?

Janel

The Craft: All my teenage years I loved anything to do with magic like Charmed, Sabrina, Practical Magic etc. This movie was definitely a favorite. Do you think they should have made a franchise out of it? I know there's a sequel from 2020 but I don't know if it's any good. I related most to "Bonnie" Neve Campbell's character. I've had stretch marks on 80% of my entire body since 12. They bother others more than they bother me. Lol

ResonanceZ

The Matrix - Hello hello! Now that you guys have seen the original trilogy, how will you remember The Matrix? Will it be for its action or will it be for the philosophical questions it poses? The Matrix did influence a lot of movies and even games with its slow motion technique. I will say I would have gone with action if I was asked right after the third movie, but after years of only rewatching the first movie and having it as part of school classes, philosophy would be my answer now.

Eric Horstman

Hey G & R The Craft: C’mon now don’t you think Nancy’s just misunderstood? Just a powerful woman with sum trauma. I mean we all got trauma lol. Do you ever find yourself empathizing with the “villain”instead of the whiny “hero”? If you had the ability wouldn’t you use it to get through traffic? Have you ever played Light as a Feather Stiff as a Board? I swear it works…with the right mushroom

ResonanceZ

The Grudge - Looks like a night of frights are ahead for Tara! Quick questions, what was you biggest fright in the movie? Also, how fast would you nope out of a house if you experience any kind of weird phenomena even if you just moved in?

Serendipity with Jess

Not a question for the movies posted - but I wanted to suggest Dept Q as a possible t.v. series for any of the cast.

ResonanceZ

The Craft - Hello Greg and hello Roxy! I totally blame this movie for wanting a goth girlfriend back in the day. Despite witches being in other movies before, I think this was the first movie that made them seem cool. Silly question, do you think can or have you ever pulled off a goth look?

Jacxon Ryan

Matrix Revolutions: This movie is incredibly divisive among the fandom - but it never was with me. Years of observing people and this franchise, there's the audience who are invested in the storyline and you have audience invested in the visual. The visual stimulation audience falls off with this film. But I thought it concluded a story that begins with focusing on The One (you) and ultimately realizing The One (you) are a part of a Collective - which the collective becomes The One. This franchise to me has always been about humans maintaining their humanity in a world completely taken over by tech, and fighting for it at all costs. With the world we live in today, technologically has come so far since 1998, do you think we are losing our humanity to tech?

ResonanceZ

Conjuring - Late night Shejects! I haven’t seen the movie yet so I will be watching it alongside both of you! I’m sure Tara is sufficiently scared after today. Question! Now that the “last” movie is in the books, which character in the entire series do you find the most frightening?

Kev B

Roxy & Greg for The Craft After watching how the characters use their powers and face the consequences, do you think the movie is really about knowing when to hold back or fighting back against what’s unfair? By the end, who did you find yourself rooting for the most, and why? Trivia: The filmmakers wanted the magic in the movie to feel authentic, so they brought in Pat Devin, a real High Priestess of the Covenant of the Goddess, to make sure the spells and rituals were accurate. She even checked the chants with her coven to keep everything genuine. For the movie’s climax, they used over 2,000 real snakes, not props or CGI, along with actual bugs and maggots

Kev B

Tara & Aaron for The Grudge: What did you think about how the movie explained (or didn’t explain) the curse? Did leaving things unclear make it creepier, or did it just leave you wishing for a bit more clarity? Trivia: The director, Takashi Shimizu, actually directed both the original Japanese Ju-On films and the 2004 American remake, giving him the chance to refine and improve elements he wasn’t completely happy with in the first version. The creepy croaking sound Kayako makes? That was Shimizu himself doing the voice, trying to capture what it would sound like if someone was struggling to breathe with a broken windpipe.

Kev B

Roxy & Tara for The Conjuring Last Rites: For you, how important is it to get closure in a horror movie? Does not knowing everything make it creepier, or just leave you feeling like the story ghosted you?

Randy Crews

Now that you are done with the original Matrix trilogy time to circle back to my original post as requested: The Matrix - Maybe you should circle back to this comment after you do the sequels, but there has never been a greater let down to an amazing film as the three sequels are to this. If there is a bigger drop off in sequels to an original film than this I’m all ears.

Kev B

Tara & Aaron for The Matrix Revolutions: The truce the movie leaves us with, Do you see it as a real peace, or more like two sides agreeing to keep the noise down while secretly planning the next round? Trivia: When you see those thousands of Agent Smiths swarming the screen, not all of them are CGI. They actually got about 50 extras suited up in Smith costumes with creepy masks made from Hugo Weaving’s head The giant machine god’s face? Believe it or not, it’s based on the Wachowskis’ nephew. They filmed the little guy making funny faces and turned those expressions into the creepy giant’s features

AWESOMEJoe Movie Reviews

"The Matrix Revolutions": I remember watching this movie in theaters and how hyped I was after watching the second movie knowing that this was going to be the conclusion to the trilogy but yet it didn't seem to get other audiences excited since there was hardly anybody in the theaters for this knowing that the first two had such a massive audience my question to you is what is your opinion based off of why so many dislike the sequels to this trilogy when I in fact see the movies as excellent entertainment. I appreciate your response have yourself an awesome day

kianashanel

first, i can’t believe roxy has never seen this. it’s a slumber party classic and one of the movies i always watch during the spoopy season. i feel like it’s a movie that gets lost during this season bc of so many other iconic halloween movies/franchises. - what are 3 spoopy tv eps/movies that you watch every halloween that you think needs more love?? - if you had to pick a corner/element, which you be?? i very much line up with rachel with west/water. - roxy, have you ever played light as a feather at slumber parties growing up?? what’s a weird game you remember playing at slumber parties growing up?? lastly, i have never and will never feel bad for laura in the movie. losing her hair was a kindness and less than what she deserved. hope you and the rest of reject nation have a wonderful monday!!

Roxy and Greg the craft. What is most memorable movies or shows the 4 main female cast have starred in that you enjoy the most? Fairuza at a very young age starred in a movie “The Worst Witch” also starring Tim Curry. Have you seen it or heard of it at least?

Leon03

The Craft. This is the first movie where both Neve Campbell and Skeet Ulrish acted together. But I think Fairuza Balk (Nancy) was the main highlight of all the movie that even overshadows the main protagonist. Do yall think this movie deserves a Remake or a proper sequel following the main characters from this movie?

Leon03

The Craft question 2: The reason why they needed Sarah was because she was a natural witch, so the rest basically became leeches off of her powers. Nancy thought she was the one in control but the god/demon punished her for over using her powers for evil. At the end, Sarah gains main control of her abilities while the rest loose their connection to her natural power. Do y'all think the movie should've explained the magic rules better?

Leon03

The Craft Question 3. The original cut showed that the rest of the girls were starting to turn on Nancy, but she threatens them if they abandoned her. Acording to the actress who played Rochelle, the producers cut a lot of her character development due to her race. Do y'all think the movie needed more character development from all the witches?

Leon03

The Grudge: This is a remake of the original 2002 Japanese film with the same director and actors for all of the ghosts. Which do y'all think is better or scarier, The Grudge or the Ring?

Leon03

The Grudge question 2. The curse Ju- On can change time and repeat loops of events as it gets stronger. The main thing about it is that it never ends since the ghosts are cursed to repeat their murder and use their hatred against everyone even if they were good people. Do y'all think this type of Japanese ghosts (called Onryo) is scarier than the more traditional western ghost? Will y'all react to the Grudge 2?

Catherine Thurmond

Helluva Boss So happy you guys are watching this. Season 1 is great Season 2 is where they get comfortable and kick it to an amazing level. -Who's your favorite character? (Mine Stolas) -Who's your favorite couple? (Stolas/ Blitz) - Who do you hate or dislike? (Stella) -What Episode and Song is your favorite song far? ( Truth Seekers or Oops. You Will Be Okay or House of Asmodeus) Anywho love you guys and hope you keep loving this show.💜

Leon03

The Grudge question 3. What is the most scariest moment in the movie? Personally the bed scene haunted my childhood forever. Also you can't fight the ghosts, if you even try to physically fight back they are so strong they can dismember you in one swing. How would y'all fight against the ghosts if yall were in the characters situations? Do y'all think the ghosts are so frightening that in the moment it only takes looking at them to paralyze you due the extreme power of the curse?

Leon03

The Conjuring. I personally think this movie was better than expected even if it wasn't scary. I really loved the story of Ed and Lloraine plus the dynamic with their daughter & boyfriend. Was this the proper end for their storyline? How would y'all rank all the movies in the franchise? Either from least scary to scariest or just from personal entertainment value overall to the movie.

Leon03

The Conjuring Last Rites. The goofiest moment was the huge Annabelle doll moment and at many times this movie does feels more fantastical than gritty scary like the first couple flicks. What was the scariest and goofiest moment personally in all the movie?

Leon03

The Conjuring Last Rites. My heart dropped in the beginning of the movie with the whole stubborn baby scene. I genuinely cried my eyes out as the movie felt "real" for a moment. Do yall think the actors really outsold themselves with their performances? Should've Judy had a better character role at the end of the movie like her mom instead of simply getting possessed for the ending?

Leon03

The Conjuring Last Rites questions 4. Do y'all the Warren's last foe should've been an actual demon creature (like the original demon design of the Nun before reshoots) instead of just the mirror itself? Should've one of them died to up the stakes for the finale? Fun fact: the wedding guests consist of cast and crew (including director James Wan) from all movies in the franchise

Anon

Helluva Boss question: what kind of storytelling do you like more? The big overarching plot kind first, characters second like in Hazbin Hotel or the character focused first, plot secondary like in Helluva Boss? Second question is who are you looking forward to interacting more for when the two Vivziepop shows cross over? Mine is seeing Charlie and Lucifer interact with the other sins because they are basically Charlie's aunts and uncles.

TM

The Craft Fairuza Balk is freaking amazing in this movie her acting and dark demeanor made the movie for me. Did you know that her first role was Return to OZ in 1985? Have either of you seen it if not will you react to it? It's my favorite Wizard of OZ story besides the original

Angela Vance

Hey Roxy Greg wich would you want to be earth air fire or water? Me I'd want all four rule the world in a good way with love what do you think?

Kai

Oh my god yall are reacting to The Craft???? YEESSSSSS!! 😃😃😃😃😃✨✨✨✨✨ One of my fav and formative movies growing up

Megan Lujan

For the grudge… I will forever love and scare the shit out of friends and loved ones with that throat sound the ghost does 😂😂
