I thought the dad was in The Squid Game. I always called 28 Days Later a thinker’s zombie movie and Train to Busan the zombie movie with a heart. I’ve seen it so many times but still can’t make it through with dry eyes. I completely agree with all of your assessments about the characters and plot twists. That lion hearted guy stole my heart as well. Keep it up She-jects, what would we do without you!

Highly recommend The Host, a fantastic creature feature by Bong Joon Ho, the Oscar winning director of Parasite. You guys would love it!

There’s a really good prequel (Seoul Station) , a so-so standalone sequel (Peninsula) and a spin off produced by James Wan (Last Train To New York) — the spin off is said to take place pretty much at the same time as the original. Honestly I adore this movie so damn much. First time I watched I was crying and crying! Edit: also the dad (Gong Yoo) is in Squid Game! He plays the Recruiter!

I've seen the male rejects cry a lot, but the shejects usually keep it together lol. This is one of the FEW times (maybe the only time??) I've seen Roxy shed a tear in a reaction! This is such a beautiful and well done movie. One of my favorites for sure.
