Halloween Ends - WATCH ALONG!!

Comments

MadLove

Yes! I was hoping you guys would post this one today! This one ranks 6th for me. I know most people hate it because it wasn't what they expected, but the opening credits was a big clue for me on how it was going to go so my expectations differed (I also don't watch trailers, which I know was a big issue for people as well). David Gordon Green took inspiration from other Carpenter films for this one, especially Christine, whose lead character was named Arnie Cunningham and who resembles Corey in many ways but the overall story is similar. A friend of mine calls Ends the "Christine remake" 😂 I can't wait to watch this along with you, ladies. My expectations for how you like it are not high, but your reactions are always great!

Thanks for listening to my suggestion of uploading this reaction on Halloween 😊

The movie they are watching on tv in the beginning of Ends... its John Carpenter's The Thing with Kurt Russel its a classic!!

i love this movie so much. I do think it's cause i dont really associate it and pretend it's its own thing? I love the concept of it. I just wish it was its own story or built up better.

I've enjoyed the Shejects Halloween franchise reactions... I like to suggest some other horror franchises you guys can eventually watch. I'm sure Scream franchise is coming but I'd recommend the Manaic Cop franchise, the Omen, Exorcist sequels skipping the 2nd one, Sinister, and the Insidious franchise.

Cory H

It's been fun seeing you two cover this franchise. I love the Halloween films. But this film is bad. Not really the Corey aspect...I don't mind that they tried something new. And there were some good moments. But Laurie was unlikeable during this film, and the ending was an insult. A grandmother is not killing a superhuman villain in her kitchen, and you Michael is a horror icon. You don't march him through town and throw him in a grinder. It's sad how disrespectful this film is to the franchise...a franchise that included Halloween: Resurrection and Rob Zombie's H2.

Ladies, I'm disappointed you guys didn't notice Corey do the "Michael Myers sit up" after jumping off the roof or that Laurie was wearing the same outfit at the end that she was wearing in the original. Fun fact: the flasher at the party was played by Nick Castle who was the original Shape (Michael Myers) and fhe line he says, "See anything you like?" is a throwback to what Linda says to Michael Myers when he's pretending to be Bob dressed as a ghost. Also, that wasn't Corey's dad but his uncle, lol.

This movie isn’t nearly as bad as ppl make it out to be

Halloween has ended but here’s to hoping we get Jeepers Creepers 1 & 2 watch alongs :)

Handsome Ransom

This movie is pure agita. The whole Cory storyline would be worth it if they didn't kill him off. In my opinion, they should have let Michael and Laurie take each other out and then pass the mantle to Allison and Cory as the cat and mouse of Haddonfield. God damn shame, Halloween 2018 should have been the end of it. Respectfully

When you ask how does they know he's alive, wouldn't have it been on the news or something. Just saying... I'm talking about Corey.

Brett Schutte

It's about Michael Myers not Corey....... love your videos!!!
