If you were invited to the Thrombey mansion for that wild family gathering, which character do you think you’d accidentally end up siding with — the charming manipulator, the clueless heir, or Benoit Blanc himself? 😅 I always wonder which side of a mystery I’d fall on before realizing I might’ve just made myself a suspect! Here's a Fun Fact for you both! Director Rian Johnson actually wrote the script in six weeks, right after finishing Star Wars: The Last Jedi, because he wanted to return to something small and character-driven. The entire film was shot in just 39 days inside a single Massachusetts mansion — whose library became the heart of the movie’s aesthetic.

Knives Out: Hello Tara and Andrew! Knives Out is one of my favorite movies of the last decade. The way Rian Johnson subverted expectations with the twist about Harlan was masterful in my opinion. How do you feel about this structure for a mystery/crime movie, and does it make you excited to watch Glass Onion and Wake Up Dead Man when it comes out?

Personally - yes they were, but that still doesn’t make up for Ross’s choices that night Friends is about to jump up a level in entertainment, looking forward to your guy’s reactions on it all 🫶🏼

For FRIENDS: Don't you think that Ross was taken advantage of by Chloe? because I think that happened but the show never addresses it. If Chloe was a guy and Ross a girl, surely that will be atleast a point of Contention.

Tara & Andrew for The Shining What hints did the movie drop along the way that made Benoit Blanc’s final reveal of the murderer feel both unexpected and totally believable? Trivia: Thrombey family members in “Knives Out” are all named after famous 1970s rock stars to help the director remember their names—Linda and Richard after Linda and Richard Thompson, Joni after Joni Mitchell, and Walt and Donna after Walter Becker and Donald Fagen from Steely Dan. The exception is Ransom, named after a character from C.S. Lewis’ Space Trilogy

Friends: Well, here we are. THE episode of "were they/weren't they." It's all about the semantics for me. She says, "Maybe we should take a break."..."From us." Ross walks out. There's no further discussion on it and then Ross calls, hears Mark and makes an assumption. There's no finality on a resolution. It was a human, emotional reaction but in my world, they were not on a break. How surprised were you to see "Happy" and "Kitty" as guest stars?? And who is someone you would like to see appear in the series?

This movie is one of my favorite thriller/mystery movies because of the subversion of expectations from the get go and the memorable twist at the end, keeps me on the edge of my seat every time. What did you think of the different take on a mystery movie where it is usually the exploration of a whodunit and in this case it is a how will she get away with it?

knives out: hello lovely/awesome/fantastic people!! knives out is such a fun and fantastic movie, and was a delightful surprise the first time i saw it. the cast is perfection (lookin at you jaime lee and toni collette), and the story is so fun!! it’s easily a movie you could watch multiple times and catch more/different things. i hope y’all continue and watch the rest of the series. i love it and wish we could experience the rest of benoit blanc’s cases in the form of short films or podcasts or a limited tv series. i feel like the murder mystery and whodunit genre movies like this one and the iconic/legendary clue, don’t get enough love and aren’t made as much as other genres. do y’all have a favorite murder mystery/whodunit film/show?? what other similar stories do you think should be on the big screen?? wishing y’all and the rest of reject nation a rad and wonderful day!! 🫶🏿🫶🏿

The last conversation with Ross was when he called her when Mark was at the apartment. So, from the time of, "MAYBE we should take a break" there is no further conversation about it between them. Ross makes the assumption on the phone call, hangs up on her then sleeps with Chloe that night. With him storming out after her only suggesting that MAYBE they should take a break & then him angrily hanging up on her because he heard Mark's voice, that was why she made the "We kinda broke up..." the day after all of that happened. Their communication was sorely lacking with this situation, for sure!
