Love Coy’s choice being Walton Goggins for if Disney rebooted National Treasure who would be a good Benjamin Gates. He was in my top 2 as well. My number 1 was Jeremy Renner. Combine his intellectual character from Arrival, his sarcasm from Mayor of Kingstown, and ability to play a fish out of water in Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol be perfect for it. Also, if he ever does decide to play Hawkeye again be the perfect film role to prepare him for that again. Has to be physical but not something that is going to push him too far after his accident. Be the perfect stepping stone to doing another really physical action role again.

Watching this reminds me how much I’d love to see y’all react to Outlander! I’ve thought of it a lot but might as well say now haha. Amazing show, lots to see but it’s wrapping up soon so might be a good time to start!

I always have loved this movie so I'm happy you decided to give it another chance, Coy. And that your impression of it improved! I would have like so many more of this franchise, I love the clever movies rich in history facts, but presented in a fun, comedic way. Nic Cage was fun too, I was a big fan of his between this and Gone in 60 seconds.
