I think a franchise that benefit from adding more characters into the lead cast like Lethal Weapon would actually be Violent Night. I hope in Violent Night 2 they add in Mrs. Claus and she gets in just as much action as Santa.

Thank you for this day after Christmas Christmas gift. I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday. In your previous reaction to Lethal Weapon 1, you both mentioned "The Last Boy Scout" was a movie with a screenplay written by Shane Black that you haven't seen. I think it might be with watching and reacting to. It's directed by Tony Scott starring Bruce Willis and Damon Wayans.

I love this movie, I love this series, and I hope they pull off a fifth. The stilt house is a real house called ‘Garcia House’ and is still there on Mulholland Drive. They used it as a location but built a replica to destroy at the end. Also, I second the recommendation of reacting to Last Boy Scout. Lots to edit out though.

In re Riggs finding out who killed his wife and it not making a difference - I suppose you could argue it gives his character a degree of (I hate this Americanism) "closure" - right? He found out what happened, that it wasn't a completely senseless accident, and he got revenge/justice (depending on how you frame it)? So I think probably it does matter a little.

The house is still there they used it for some shots but the scene where Riggs tears it down, it was a full size replica on a lot they built with cables and explosives. When you asked who today can play crazy, but dramatic etc. My first thought was Sam Rockwell but now he's a bit to old. But I think he could have done it. Although I'm thinking Jeremy Allen White could pull it off
