I wouldn’t take that as bond because they typically release reactions a week or even more later than filming. With exceptions being made sometimes. For example, heated rivalry!

Interview with the Vampire I know Roxy has seen the '94 movie, but I don't know if Greg has yet so I'll share this just in case; this tv show adaptation has made a LOT of changes to the source material (while still staying faithful to its core themes). Most notable being, in the original book and movie adaptation Louis is a white slave owner from the 18th century. Here he is a black brothel owner from the early 20th century and this has led to major changes to the story due to the affect his race and the change of time period has on the story being told. But another major change was the choice to bring Louis and Lestat's romantic relationship to the forefront. In the book and movie adaptation it was all implication and homoerotic subtext (likely because both were released in the 70s and the 90s respectively). What do you think of the choice to emphasize and expand on the explicit romantic and sexual aspects of Loustat's relationship in this show? And how do you think the allegory of vampirism, violence, passion and immortality correlate or intersect with the themes of queer identity, racial trauma and freedom?

They are *usually* within a week or two but the schedule is very tight packed and we have to fit it into a lot of different factors. As of right now it's tentatively scheduled for the end of January.

Heartstopper: When I first watched this show I remember it constantly subverted my expectations, like in Ep 4, nick had a date with Imogen but in Ep 5 he and charlie discussed it and resolved it pretty fast. There is a stereotype of queer media having to be depressing and tragic, and this episode felt like a direct response to that. my question: Have you noticed this as well & what do you think about challenging the gay tragedy stereotype with stories like this and heated rivalry?
