Jeepers Creepers (2001) - WATCH ALONG!!

Comments

Hasena Ali

So all the Patreon questions that mention the director have been cut out…

Diiirk706

Yup. Movie was trash then. Still trash now. And the guy's been outed as a pedo, amongst other things. Just LMFAO all 'round.

Ferdinand Martinez

This was one of the first movies I realized I truly needed to mind my business as a kid lol

Cort R

I remember seeing this in a full movie theater. We turned on these two quickly and there was alot of yelling at the screen.

ThatMattGuy

i have no problem pirating this movie :P. although, i don't know whether this is true, but I heard the pos director doesn't own the rights to this franchise anymore

Hasena Ali

He doesn’t, that’s why it was rebooted with Jeepers Creepers Reborn

ThatMattGuy

Which was a pile of garbage

I actually agree with that. It would ruin the movie. And I think that is unfair, as a movie is a massive team effort. Actors, stunt work, cinematography, make-up, costumes, special effects, etc. The director, whose name I won't even utter, deserves to be buried under the prison, but telling people what he did before they watch the film always ruins it for people watching it for the first time. As I said, it's a disservice to all the other people that worked on it. Edit: Just to clarify, I'm not saying don't tell people, just that if they don't already know before their first time watching it, wait till after they have seen at least the first (maybe the second) before telling them.

Craig Hawkins

I love this movie definitely a favorite of mine

Kdeezy Baby

I agree with you that there are a lot of people behind the film that make it the classic it is. The director was a POS, yes.. but like what do you think is gonna come out of them addressing that?

The first sleepover I was allowed to have away from home at 12 was with my best friend and we decided to put this one on when her dad went to sleep (it was her dads rental pick and we were "big girls" 🙄) so no parental guidance in sight lol by the time it was over we were both wrapped in blankets with our teeth chattering and shaking like leaves in the wind just clutching eachother we were so afraid! Ahhh good times! 🤣🤣 so I can't wait to revist this one and laugh at how stupidly afraid of it I was after that night lol

Medicineshowjo

The fact that this movie was even made is what's infuriating. The director was convicted and served time for abuse of a child actor on one of his previous projects, and Hollywood still gave him a platform. I have no problem with the channel covering it, but to not even mention the controversy is deeply troubling.

Malik Currie

Wait… WHY NO A24 films!? 😭

TJ

Well depending on contracts and ownership rights even if a filmmaker isn't involved anymore with their work being duplicated or sequelized they could still get some money from those releases. But that's neither here nor there.

Lloyd Reacts

A24 is heavy handed with YouTube claims and strikes.

Ishi

it would have ruined the movie experience for them. sometimes (most times) personal and professional needs to be compartmentalized so that way you can enjoy the the movie (etc) with a clear mind.

Ana Karen

idk if it’s just me but This reaction was hard to watch and not because of the movie. I feel the girls were just on a bad mood even before the movie started I felt the attitude ..

KaylaTheKing

Came back to comment for my girl Roxy that you aren't wrong! Original "duck tape" in WWII was called that because of the cloth backing that made it "waterproof" like a "ducks back" and then years later it was used in construction for sealing HVAC ducts and then became "Duct tape" so not wrong Roxy! ❤️❤️❤️

SavageDiplomat

Yep wasnt a good reaction. Continuous talking over the movie.
