My favorite thing about this movie is that in the new reboot series with McAvoy they straight up break the 4th wall "sort of" and say "they never get the 3rd one right" then they made and equally unsatisfying 3rd film. It's not my favorite thing bc i enjoy hating on films or this film. I just liked this film so little and it just because it's so damn funny to me that that referenced how bad Last Stand was and then made something even worse. Not sure which 3rd film of each series i like less.

I HATED this when I saw it in theater because they straight up killed Cyclops and Professor X along with Jean (I expected that for her in a Phoenix movie) and depowered Mystique. Worst for me was Phoenix as a split personality instead of using the Phoenix Force. Juggernaut sucked- my favorite bit was him knocking himself out. Now looking back I see it as the second worst X film (X-Men Origins Wolverine still holds the bottom slot for me). It has good points- the final battle was well done, Beast was a great addition and the Iceman/Pyro duel was epic. And of course the post credit scene with Moira and her patient was nice

Hating on the post credit for the marvels just because the bad cgi is unfair, they aren’t gonna do HOURS of makeup for a 10 second scene.
