Weapons: Do you think Amy Madigan gave an awards worthy performance as Aunt Gladys?

Randy Crews

Weapons: Do you think Archer’s (Josh Brolin) dream sequence is a little too on the nose and jarring for an otherwise fantastic movie?

Master_T

Weapons: movies with bleak endings like this one for me are hard to rewatch because there is no happy ending. Do you guys find it hard to rewatch those types of films?

Weapons: Hi Jon, Roxy & Andrew! Amy Madigan (Aunt Gladys) said that Zach Cregger (the director) gave her two possible backstories for the character but told her not to reveal which one she chose. Either Aunt Gladys was an old, sick woman who turned to dark magic to survive, or she was a creature pretending to be human. Which do you think she went with? Some might assume it’s obvious she chose the “old, sick woman who turned to dark magic” option, but I’m not so sure. For example, when she mentions Alex’s dad coming down with a “touch of consumption,” that’s an old term for tuberculosis that hasn’t been commonly used since the 19th century. That detail alone stood out to me (as it did to the principal too).

Euphoria 1x5: Hi John & Tara! In Episode 5, Rue and Jules have that intense moment on the bed where Rue admits she doesn’t really know who she is without drugs — do you think Jules understands the weight of that confession, or is she seeing their relationship through a more romantic lens than the reality of Rue’s addiction?

Jaydelle

Euphoria 1x6: Hey John & Tara! After the party in Episode 6 where everything between Nate, Maddy, and Cassie starts unraveling, do you think Nate thrives on the chaos he creates — or is he constantly reacting to situations he’s losing control over? Fun Fact: Did you guys know that most of the episode titles in Euphoria Season 1 (Episodes 2–6) are actually named after famous hip-hop songs?

Malik (Muh-Leek)

Euphoria 1x5 & 1x6: What are your thoughts on Rue leaning on Jules to stay sober? And what implications do you think will happen because of it? Fun Fact: Rue and Jules are dressed as Romeo and Juliet from the 1996 film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes

Sister Act 2: Hi John, Aaron & Tara! When the choir finally finds its rhythm, do you think it was more about Deloris teaching them music — or about her helping them believe they actually had something worth saying in the first place? Fun Fact: The big finale song Joyful, Joyful was arranged in a gospel/hip-hop style specifically for the movie, and it became so popular that many real school and church choirs started performing that version instead of the traditional hymn.

Sister Act 2: How do you think this movie did adapting itself to a younger choir? Personally I liked seeing the nuns as teachers at Delores' old school as it gave her a fun and believable reason for coming back. PS: When Ahmal hits THAT note during "Oh Happy Day" it was unscripted so everyone's reaction was completely genuine.

Weapons: I loved this movie, it was such a ride from beginning to end, I have seen a decent amount of people complaining about how the movie is told in Chapters, and it ruined the pacing for them. Me personally I didn’t have an issue with it, I loved the way it was told, and it kept me on my toes. Also the big chase at the end was surprisingly hilarious. I’m curious if y’all agree, and if yall have seen Barbarian how would yall compare this to that.

Nikki Sonrisa

Weapons: Hey Jon, Andrew, and Roxy! I hope you enjoyed Weapons; it’s one of my favorite movies from last year. Question: if you see your boss running toward you in the Naruto pose with bulging eyes and covered in blood/gunk, wyd?

Nikki Sonrisa

Sister Act 2: Hey John, Aaron, and Tara! Now that you’ve seen both movies, which one is your favorite and why? Which performances stood out to you the most in this one? Lauryn Hill is a standout to me, not only because she has a phenomenal voice, but also because I love how well she portrayed a teen struggling with embracing her natural talents vs. her parent’s expectations for her future. it felt very real to me.

AWESOMEJoe Movie Reviews

Weapons: How crazy was that chase scene at the end? Shame though how everyone who was under her hypnosis like the parents stayed under since they've been under for a long while. I enjoyed how the story was divided into character perspectives, it helped keep the mystery going, with suspense and understanding. Your thoughts?

AWESOMEJoe Movie Reviews

Sister Act 2: Glad you guys are watching the sequal, when Disney + was first released back in 2019 they announced that there would be a Sister Act 3 well obviously we never got it but I would love for it to still happen. Are there any movies you've enjoyed in the past that you would loved to have seen a sequal to that never got one, but might? For example: 2017's "Power Rangers" or Zack Snyders "Justice League Part 2". Your thoughts?

Sister Act 2: What are your thoughts on Delores' teaching style? I loved how she won their respect starting with that well placed "Your mama" joke :-)

Weapons - Happy Birthday to Me! - Hey Jon, Rox, & Andrew! 1. Can you think of any antagonist death scene that was as Hilarious, Insane, and Traumatic as that? 2. How dumbed down do you think they needed to make the police for this to work? lmao "Maybe if we draw straight lines where they ran we can.... Tri-Ang-ulate them" lol

Weapons: Which character had the best perspective?

Jay Rushton

WEAPONS (Jon, Roxy & Andrew) - Question what kind of Campbell soup do you like the best. Minor trivia Silver Surfer, Sorcerer Supreme, Thanos, and Captain Solo are in this film.

EUPHORIA 1x5 & 1x6 (Tara & John) - Question what Rejects would make great Bonnie and Clyde team. Also Tom and Zendaya got married there.

SISTER ACT 2: BACK IN THE HABIT (John, Aaron, & Tara) - Question what voice range are the Rejects in singing tone. Ranges are listed Alto, Soprano, Tenor, and Bass.

Patricia Carrillo

Sister Act 2: This was a movie that I grew up on and LOVING, especially the music. For a long time, though, I didn't really pay attention or click that it was a sequel and didn't watch the first until a few years ago. Any films that you guys have ever watched where it was a sequel and watched the predecessors later? Also, Sister Act 3 is in development staring Whoopi and Tyler Perry producing. We can only hope that it does happen!
