The Color Purple: Hey Double J and Tara! This movie is a black cinema classic and traumatized a lot of us growing up, but we still love hurting our own feelings rewatching it. Question: In a movie full of tragedy and heartbreak, what was your favorite heartwarming moment? Mine is the scene where Celie helps Sophia in the store with Miss Millie. I always cry happy tears.

The Color Purple. Aside from Celie, which character stood out to you? Danny Glover played Mister so well I hated him for a minute. I cheered when Celie's sister hit him in the balls with her schoolbooks 😁. Had to watch Lethal Weapon to like him again.

The Prince of Egypt: This story is in the book of Exodus (my favorite book in the Bible btw), there is a lot of the story though they have missed or altered, I suppose for the movies time frame. But yet this movie is in fact one of my favorite movies of all time. My question for you however is this, "what part of the movie captured your heart the most?" Mine, even though it is the entire movie, I would have to say the parting of the red sea, then when it closes on Rameses and his army. Thank you.

Euphoria: In the montage, Cassie repeatedly appears hopeful and affectionate toward her partners. She often seems eager to please them, suggesting that she associates intimacy with affection and acceptance. How do Cassie’s flashbacks reframe the audience’s understanding of her character and the themes of validation and reputation in Euphoria? Also I don’t know if you caught this, but Daniel, who tries to hook up with Cassie is the same Daniel that broke up with kat when she came back from vacation. I think it really shows how people treat others based around how desirable they are to them, both by looks and reputation.

Music plays an integral part in the movie's storytelling, from Hans Zimmer's score to Stephen Schwartz's songs, which is just hit after hit. What was the song or musical moment that made you go "damn, why do they have to hit so hard?" Keep on being amazing!

The Prince of Egypt: This movie was supposed to be dreamworks magnum opus so they had extremely high expectations of their animators so if they weren't performing to the best of Dreamworks abilities they were demoted to the "animation gulag" to work on Shrek (which was much more successful and popular in the long run) so my questions are: Do you think that was a suitable punishment? Do you think the ones demoted had the last laugh? Did Dreamworks bet on the right horse at the time? Also Happy Belated birthday Jon!!! ❤️❤️

Is there a listed schedule for when The Prince of Egypt will air? You already aired The Color Purple this week, so I was wondering if The Prince of Egypt would also be airing this week. Now that I have my first grandbaby I'm a bit distracted and want to make sure I don't overlook the airing of it. Thank you.
