Loved the show, my little sister and I watched it all the time together. Haven't seen movie in over a decade, so I'm excited to watch with you. I don't remember much from it, most of my knowledge is for the show.

If y'all do the show which is a big commitment, then I'm on board!!! But like most sitcoms, the episodes does get repetitive after awhile if they aren't any real concrete storylines to follow. I'll be happy if you cover the first season only! 😁

I was aging out of high school when Hannah premiered on Disney but I LOVED it!! Gave me something to bond with my younger nieces over. I cannot believe it has been 20 years!! Also BTW, that song they were singing on the porch was made famous by Rascal Flatts....not Zach Brown lol

Yeah, this movie was ICONIC when it came out. Remember the hoedown dance being all over social media. Loved watching this again with y'all. Would LOVE if you watched the TV Show too. I can wait for the special if y'all want to get caught up with the TV show. Or you can watch the anniversary early, like after the first season of the show, whatever works :D Greg, you're not completely speaking off of conjecture. Miley has stated her relationship with her dad was rocky, partially for political reasons I'm sure. She did try to distance herself a bit from the Disney image when younger mainly so she could go solo and mature her music. That was around when she did the Last Song, and the Wrecking Ball era, basically. But I don't think this means she doesn't appreciate the love fans have for Hannah Montana.
