Yes, visually this movie is amazing! I did not like the skin walls. I wanted to see more of Cathy and Heathcliff being happy together after all the years they were apart but it just went into a montage. I've haven't read the book and I am curious to see another version that's more accurate to the book.

As someone who read the book, this movie is heavy on the style and light on the substance. This felt like a fanfiction rather than an adaptation. I would have rather they just use this plot for an original story than what they did here. I am not asking for a 1 to 1 adaptation, that would be silly, but it feels like Emerald Fennell didn't understand the book at all. Or she understood the book but decided to change the theme and characters to match her vision. Acting was great and it was visually impressive. Just wish they called it anything else besides "Wuthering Heights" lol. I hope this doesn't hurt Fennell's career though, I would love to see more stuff from her. Would love to see John react to Promising Young Woman

This movie is a box office hit and It is her highest grossing movie. Don’t worry, she’s doing very well 🥰

Reputation is certainly measured differently than money though!
