REAL STEEL (2011) - WATCH ALONG!!

Curtis Rice

Saw this in theaters and it still holds up perfectly. The soundtrack was such a vibe for that era—it captures that gritty, underdog energy so well. The action is top-tier, but what I love most is the ambiguity around Atom. That scene where it feels like he might actually be 'alive' is beautiful; it’s never explicitly stated, but you can feel a soul in the machine. Plus, seeing Hugh Jackman’s character grow from a deadbeat to a real father is the heart of the whole thing.

You asked for another boxing film to watch. I highly recommend The Fire Inside. Stars Academy Award Nominee Brian Tyree Henry, directed by Academy Award Nominee Rachel Morrison, and written by Academy Award Winner Barry Jenkins.

One of my favourite films! I've seen it so many times, and here we go again...

I've always loved Hugh Jackman in Kate and Leopold. Shejects should react to Dark Skies.
