I believe scholars think King George might have had bipolar. But we don't really know for sure, of course. I like that the show doesn't try to give us a definitive diagnosis, and of course he never gets cured, as was shown in the first two seasons of Bridgerton. And of course everything the doctor did, including the slap, will never help and would have worsened it. You cannot terror anybody out of any mental illness (not even anxiety or phobias). And real exposure therapy is nothing like what the doctor was doing. Exposure therapy doesn't go so far nor so fast. The doctor's experiments are also completely unethical, and the "gaining of knowledge" doesn't justify them either, of course. It's sad the mother thinks putting him through these horrible pseudo-scientific treatments is a way to show love for him, because it isn't. Love would be saying that it's okay to be mentally ill and love him anyways, not trying to cure him. Because there *is* no cure, not at the moment. And people with mental illness are still people. Anyways, loved the reaction, as always.

You guys should def watch The Vampire Diaries - Iconic show. Some really interesting characters in it that i would love to watch you guys react to it. Also its a classic show- still ruling Netflix and all streaming services even until now. It also brings in a crazy amount of huge fans - who not kidding are very very passionate about the show. Its bigger than just teeen drama - or anything if you have ever heard about the show its much bigger. Yes, its a long show- but worth watching. You can may be try watching the first few and then decide if you guys wanna continue or put up a poll on Patreon or YouTube but pls pls give it a try its not gonna disappoint that i am certain of.

Not trying to yuck anybody's yum, but there's a funny article online (easy google) with most of the examples of how TVD ripped story, plot, and even word-for-word dialogue from a predecessor show with a cult following: Buffy the Vampire Slayer. IMHO, Buffy is a much better show.

TVD is top notch show with some excellent characters, character growth, plot and story line with great twists and an amazing cast which even today after all these years are adored and loved dearly it's a classic show now and Tvd has a huge huge huger fanbase - ppl have literally become huge watching / reacting to TVD I have seen this even to this day. I have literally seen ppl love Tvd - even young girls / guys of this age / all ages and some of them don't even like Buffy well to each their own and let them decide if they wana give Tvd a try.

Regarding what John said about watching this without watching the first two seasons of Bridgerton: I did that and it was still really wonderful. I really loved having the backstories of Violet, Agatha and especially Charlotte when I started season 1.
