When it comes between the debate between Armegeddon and Deep Impact: Personally I love both films, but Deep Impact is the better film. Although, Armegeddon is the more fun and entertaining film of the two.

I liked Deep Impact and Armageddon. But Deep Impact, I thought.. (no pun intended) had the more impactful and emotional story. I know people love the flash, and great CGI in movies like these, but overall, for me: I love a character driven movie. Movies that make you get invested. Like the both of you said, I do wish we got to spend more time with some of the characters, but I think they balanced the time pretty well.

Like the Abyss is great film random comment often.

I prefer Deep Impact over Armageddon for two reasons; For one thing it takes a more serious and dramatic approach to an end of the world scenario than Armageddon did. We get Bruce Willis' heroic sacrifice at the end of that movie but you have to get through a bunch of nonsense and humor before it happens. But here the entire plot is built around the drama of the characters with different backgrounds all culminating in the same purpose. Secondly the actors in Deep Impact play believable characters. You believe the Messiah crew are the best to be there for the job of saving the planet and have the skills to do so. You believe Tea Leoni can tell the nation what it needs to hear behind a news desk, you believe Morgan Freeman can comfort the country as a leader, etc.

Armageddon feels like a comedy movie compared to this one lol It definitely had more laughs with Peter Stormare on the cast as well as the banter between Bruce and Ben in scenes but this one absolutely DESTROYS me emotionally from start to finish.... With Armageddon it's only one person saying goodbye to their (adult) child meanwhile this movie was SO many parents ready to say goodbye to their children and that pulls so hard on my heart hence my comment on Armageddon about you guys will have to pay for my therapy if you reacted to this lol it truly feels like my heart has been stomped on by cleeted boots after watching this but UGHHH I hate that it's my favourite of the two lol Great reaction and second of all runner up wolverine was a surprise because I was OBSESSED with Dougray Scott in "Ever After" with Drew Barrymore so what a delight because I don't think I have ever clocked him in this movie lol Child me is screaming at the idea he could have been wolverine lol ❤️❤️❤️ P.S Gregory signs are pointing to an "Ever After" reaction so don't deny the universe *rings bell* watch, watch, watch, watch (insert gif of "shame" from GOT) 😜
