So excited for this! When y'all did the first two episodes of S3, I loved it so much that I had to binge watch it, and S4, myself right after, lol. So watching it a second time now! Season 3 is my favorite season of Bridgerton.

With the books, Benedict's story is the third book and Colin's story was the fourth which is why Lady Whistledown is not revealed until book four as Greg has mentioned. I'm not sure if they will switch future seasons with the book. But there is one plot twist that I'm looking foward to in an upcoming season

Was that improvised? Please help. In episode 5, at Colin and Pen's engagement party, Francesca introduces Lord Kilmartin to Anthony and Lady Danbury, her brother and Mama Bridgterton are there. Lord Kilmartin says to Anthony "I've heard nothing but the highest praise for you, my lord" to which Anthony replies "So, you have not been speaking to my family then?" The others laughed, but I can't tell if Jonathan Bailey improvised that reply. It sounds like something he would say.

Thanks for answering my question. I agreed with a lot of what you both said about Colin and the other subplots. I think Luke Newton put on a stellar performance every second he was on screen, down to his facial expressions, but the character was underdeveloped. Which sucks because they only lead once and the writers have been iffy post HEA. One thing I'm disappointed about is the lack of real ton reactions to Colin and Pen's engagement. Like Greg kept pointing out, there were so many moments of people being straight up mean to Penelope in first part, making fun at the idea of her finding a husband and writing her off as a spinster, only to not only get engaged (nearly engaged to Lord Debling too) but engaged to the most eligible bachelor of the season from one of the most prominent families of the ton. And a love match to anyone actually looking.
