Fantastic Beasts: This is officially the end of this franchise, I do wish they kept going, and made one more to wrap up this story. But they did reboot this franchise with the tv show, I’m curious, if y’all wished they continued the franchise with different stories set in the universe, or are y’all ready for the reboot tv show.

Fantastic Beasts Secrets of Dumbledore: Hi Roxy & Jon! What stood out to you most about the dynamic between Dumbledore and Grindelwald, especially the idea that their history and emotional connection make their conflict feel far more personal than just a typical good-versus-evil story? Fun Fact: The magical creature called the Qilin was inspired by a creature from Chinese mythology known for sensing purity and truth, which is why the film uses it as a symbol for leadership, morality, and destiny.

Army of Darkness: This movie does kinda leave behind the horror roots, and it fully becomes a slapstick comedy. It is a tone change that doesn’t work for everyone, but it does work for me, and I find the movie hilarious. I’m curious if y’all agree, and out of the 3 Orginal Sam Rami movies, how would yall rank them.

Fantastic Beasts: In Harry Potter lore, one of the things that Dumbledore is most famous for is his defeat of Grindewald in a legendary duel with witnesses saying that it was "extraordinary, with no duel ever matching it." Unfortunately, the franchise ended with this movie so we wont get to see that duel. Did these movies build up your anticipation for the duel and make you excited to see it or do you think they did a poor job of setting it up?

Bridge 4x05-06: Unlike Simon/Anthony/Colin who solicited brothels, Benedict has had several healthy, equal relationships w/ liberated women. These ladies (modiste, art student, Tilly) defied society's s*xual norms and pushed back against traditional gender roles. By contrast, Sophie vehemently insists on staying within societies' behavioral limitations. Q?: Does Ben's current love-interest feel at all out-of-step with his character arc the last 3 seasons? Doesn't this storyline only perpetuate the narrative that you can "mess around" w/ these progressive women, but only love/marry the virgin?

Looking forward to Glory! One of my most favorite films EVER! Anything with Morgan Freeman is pretty damn good, anyway.. so yeah!

Bonus Q? (if time and temper allow): In the book, it's two years between the masquerade ball and our leads meeting/interacting again. Now, just weeks. Q?: Do you really think Ben (an artist) would seriously not recognize Sophie? No marked difference in appearance, no change in accent. Like really?!? ...The "Cinderella" trope requires the love-interest to be significantly visually altered post-ball or the leading man seems idiotic. So is this unrealistic blindness just further evidence that Sophie's character should have been reimagined/altered for the show?

Army of Darkness- Hello Andrew and Paige! :) My favorite of the original E.D series by far and the one that cemented the iconic version of ASH we know and love today. But one of my favorite parts of this film was it's use of stop motion, especially the skeleton army inspired by the work of Ray Harryhausen. Was there a particular effects scene in the film that you were truly impressed by?

Bridgerton: I think the reason Sophie was so supportive of Ben's coming out is that her best friend Alfie is queer too( he was joking about being happy to make Mr B happy as a mistress) Nobody in Ben's family knows about his sexuality though. Do you think he won't dissappear in the next season like previous male leads, because he would be a right person to support Francesca in her journey?

ARMY OF DARKNESS (EVIL DEAD III) (Andrew & Paige) - Question what item would you buy at S mart.

Jay Rushton

GLORY (Paige & Michael) - Question what you think of people who live in South who use the Dixie flag there.

BRIDGERTON 4x5 & 4x6 (John & Greg) - Question what alcoholic drinks would you guys drink living in England during time period there.

Bridgerton: We leave this pair of episodes with the moment of losing Lord Kilmartin. 💔 While it was heartbreaking, it also turned the fridging trope on its head and instead the man is taken out to advance the females stories. While this is not surprising in a shondaland project (and likely one of the many female empowering storylines that led Shonda to want to take this book series to tv) it is still very rare in tv and cinema today. Fridging as a trope is terrible for women on the screen - and in print - but using it in this way, can you see the benefits of using it to advance Francesca and Michaela’s stories? Do you think there could’ve been another way? Were we really done with Lord Kilmartin or could there have been more of his story and their love/family story to tell?

Army of Darkness: So, what'd you think of the crazy jump in tone? Which style did you actually like better? The first, second, or this one? Trivia: In the mirror scene where mini-Ashes emerge, Bruce Campbell had to memorize and synchronize over a hundred exact physical movements to match the pre-recorded special effects

Glory: Even though it's about this Black regiment, the whole story is told through a white officer's eyes. Do you think the movie really lets those guys' voices shine, or does it still feel like it's leaning too heavily on the white officers perspective?

Alan Smithee

Sup Paige and Andrew! The original title for Army of Darkness was Medieval Dead! I think that could have been a better title. Question: Do you find Ash to be heroic? Is he likeable and genuinely groovy or is he a boorish buffoon you would avoid at all costs? Thanks!

Out of curiosity, do we know yet if Andrew and Tara will be reacting to House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms?

thereelrejects

I don't believe they are going to as of now at least not before HotD begins. Honestly they just ran out of time. They may catch up later on... - PLD
