The Amazing Spider-Man 2: This movie is a mess, they decided to do like 4 or 5 different stories in this movie, while also setting up a Sinister Six movie. I feel like if this movie was just Peter and Gwen working on their relationship problems, while Electro was the villain the movie be way better, but they decided to do the Green Goblin, while also trying doing stuff with Peter’s parents, and the movie just becomes way to big that it becomes just a big pile of nothing. But I am curious if y’all, or did y’all like the stuff in the movie. Also out of the now 5 Spider man movies you have seen, how would yall rank them.

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 (Paige & Jackie) Fun facts: -Whenever the clock stops spinning, it lands on 1:21. It’s a reference to the issue that Gwen Stacy dies from falling off a bridge. The Amazing Spider-Man #121. The first Spider-Man movie (Tobey Maguire’s trilogy) also paid tribute to the issue by having MJ in that scenario. MJ survives Gwen’s comic book fate because Spider-Man chose to dive after her instead of sending a web out to catch her. -Shailene Woodley was cast as MJ and filmed scenes with Andrew Garfield & Emma Stone, but her scenes were ultimately cut in favor of the final version of the film.

Hi Paige and Jackie, glad you’ve been enjoying the Spider-man movies and hope you venture into some more early 2000 marvel movies. My question’s about the unfortunate “snap” that killed Gwen. The “snap” is important to the comics and ends the era of heroes always saving the victims. So I knew what was coming but could you guys see her dying at the end or was it just a shock?

Hey Jackie and Paige! I was wondering, how do you think The Amazing Spider-Man 2 would've felt if the deleted Mary Jane scenes had actually made it into the final cut? Since Shailene Woodley was originally cast and filmed scenes as MJ, do you think her inclusion would've enriched Peter's story, or would it have taken away from the emotional weight of Peter and Gwen's relationship? Also... Jackie, I have to admit I have the biggest crush on you 😂 Looking forward to hearing all your thoughts on this one!

Amazing Spider-Man 2. Do you ladies think this wrapped up Andrew Garfield's run as Spiderman properly or do you think he needed a third movie? I personally wanted to see his fight with the Rhino (one of his goofier looking comic book foes).

Hey Jackie and Paige! Which score did you like better between TASM1 (James Horner) or TASM2 (Hans Zimmer)

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 (Paige & Jackie) - Question what Reject would make great Spiderman it can be male or female there.

Hi Jackie and Paige! Even though I prefer the Raimi trilogy over The Amazing Spider-Man movies, Gwen’s death scene hits me harder than anything in the previous films. Andrew Garfield’s acting in that moment completely elevates the movie, and it gets me every single time I watch it. What do you two think? Do you agree?
