If Jackie and Paige have not seen Hacksaw Ridge yet, I highly recommend that as a reaction for them. It is probably Andrew’s best performance of his career and his first Oscar nomination for Best Actor. Also, probably one of the top war films ever made. Also, if Jackie liked Peter’s awkward charm in these Spider-Man films, she’ll like this character even better because he is running that awkward charm on full power with this film. Andrew Garfield + that charming personality at 100% + the character’s strong moral code and determination = one of the most likable characters in film history.

In the comics, Gwen's death is one of the most pivotal events not just for Spiderman, but in comic book history. This was probably the first time in any comic where a major character like Gwen died. The Green Goblin did it in the comics too, almost exactly like that. The only difference was that he threw her off the Brooklyn Bridge instead of this location- otherwise, it happened just like that. Peter swore off love but eventually fell in love with Mary Jane (they were friends while he dated Gwen) and married her. I'm guessing a third movie would have shown him fighting the Sinister Six and falling for Mary Jane

So so glad you guys enjoyed this movie! I dont understand people's criticism of this movie that say the story is messy and unbalanced because i feel like it balanced it all really well!

Awww. Was hoping to ask a question relating to Shailene Woodly as MJ and add a bit of context to what scenes she had. This movie was juggling a lot but I will always kinda wish we saw those scenes or still could.
