Oh, I see. We are strictly going through the HalloGreen trilogy. I like it. It avoids the confusion of going through multiple timelines, and it is the best timeline, in my opinion.

Halloween - Hi Rejects! Welcome to the HalloGreen trilogy. While John Carpenter kept Halloween 1978 filled with tension, no gore, and little violence, David Gordon Green tries to stay with similar tension, but includes much gore and violence. Which is more effective for you in a horror film, full tension with minimal violence, or tension with high violence? Personally, as much as I love violence and gore, films with tension make me feel more unsettled. It's what makes Halloween 1978 my close-to-perfect horror film.

Hey Jackie & Paige! Did you expect the killer to be wearing a burlap sack with one eyehole instead of the famous hockey mask? Two pieces of Trivia: Adrienne King's return for the opening sequence was short-lived, but her reaction to being killed by the ice pick was genuinely painful. During one of the takes, the prop ice pick failed to retract properly and actually struck her in the temple They almost went with a completely different final shot for the movie. The original idea was to have Mrs. Voorhees' severed head, which was actually an actress wearing a rotting makeup appliance, open her eyes, give the camera a wink, and flash a smile to hint that she wasn't entirely gone. They ended up tossing the concept because everyone on set agreed it looked way too ridiculous

Friday the 13th Part 2: I love this movie, it’s my personal favorite of the Friday movies, I think Bag Head Jason is very good slasher character. I’m curious what y’all think of the franchise so far being only 2 movies, and are y’all excited to watch more of these movies, or are yall worried about moving forward

Halloween 2018: This movie is highly loved by many, even been hailed as the best of the franchise, but for me personally, I find it very boring, the movie is also made entirely by a comedy team, which does not work for me, I like there comedy movies, but them blending into horror didn’t work for me at all. I am curious if y’all liked the comedy, and the way its blends into the horror. And how do yall compare it to the og movie.

Friday the 13th part 2. Did you to enjoy the kills in this movie. It’s known to have some of the best kills in the franchises and I’m wondering what you though of the different ones, Mark’s death and Jeff and Sandra.

Hi Jackie and Paige! Welcome to summer camp nightmares! Basically the Friday the 13th series started the teen slasher boom in the 80s. But how do you feel watching these "young adults" who should be smarter/more mature, but falling for what nowadays we call "horror tropes"? If they were younger teens we could forgive them a little bit more? Thanks!

I don't necessarily agree as a Jamie Lloyd guy, but I do really like it as an experiment! - PLD

MadLove

I do like Jamie. They just lost me when they brought in the Cult of Thorn. Return was a great film. Revenge would've been solid if they removed the psychic ability and the Man in Black that leads to the cult. Aside from 2018 being the perfect sequel to the original (and what would've also made a great ending to the story as a whole), in my opinion, I like how they wanted to try and fix the story to align more with what Carpenter wanted, and paid homage to all the films in the franchise, along with Carpenter himself. I'm a Kills and Ends defender for life! There are significantly worse films in the franchise, so I stand firm on my convictions 😂

Friday the 13th (specifically for Jackie, but also Paige if she has watched Halloween previously) - Now that you have seen the first appearances of Michael and Jason, I'm curious as to who you find more terrifying. Michael is my all-time favorite slasher, and one of the reasons is due to the fact that his appearance is the least menacing out of all of them. Looks can be deceiving, and he appears the least dangerous, making him the more dangerous one, in my opinion.

FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 2 (Jackie & Paige) - Question would you be glad if your undead son got revenge for you there.
