Love the fact that we don’t have to sync our own copies anymore however, the audio mixing needs some improvement. I could barely hear Greg and John over the episode audio. I missed their commentary for 80% of the episode. Please fix for future reactions 🫶

Not sure how everyone else is getting on with these full watchalongs, but the audio from the episode itself is either too loud, too quiet or lacks bass. I tried syncing up with my own copy, then muting the audio and it's like listening to sound through a toy phone. With how the watchalongs were formatted in the past you were able to sync up your own copy, use your own audio to whatever appropriate volume balance and then adjust the watchalong reactors audio to the right level. Now I'm unable to adjust their audio because they are quieter than the episode of HotD. It seems the only way to watch is to either mute the watchalong video entirely, but then you don't get the commentary of Greg & John and continue to use your own media & sync up with your own audio. Or I watch the entire thing through the watchalong without my own media, sacrificing audio quality and the oval bounding box around the episode & SDR. I'm not sure this works for me. I stopped watching less than 5 minutes in to the video.

to echo everyone else, the audio of the episode is so loud compared to the audio of greg & john i can't even hear what they are saying

me too Edit: this is intentional, check announcements- there's been some change to the format (which has made this unwatchable for many including myself unfortunately)

This is once again, not it. I can see why you guys wanna try this, like to save syncing headaches but this is bumming me out. The oval is not good, and the audio mixing is off. If you could do both options, that would be ideal. At least put the full movie ratio and increase the size, like at the whole bottom half and balance out the audio.

Honest feedback from decade long fan: This new format is unwatchable for me. In this particular instance the audio mixing is off, the audio quality for the show is bad, I can't see the whole screen because of the oval shape, and I can't re-size the show relative to the reaction or put them on two separate screens... all downsides for me with no real upside at all; syncing requires 0.01% effort and never caused any issues. Allows for more flexibility on our end as well. I see there are a couple people who may enjoy this format but the majority of feedback is negative. In my opinion, there's no version of this, even with audio and visual improvements, that would be preferable to how things were. Both options are ideal, so everyone is happy. As many have said already, it wasn't broke... so don't attempt to fix it, please. Old format was perfection for most of us.

This new format is not it, please go back to letting us sync our watchalong with the timer - I genuinely will stop using these watchalongs if this new format persists

You need to reupload this fixed - you cannot hear Greg or John's voices at all, its like they are whispering but quieter, this format is not good nor is it even working because you cannot hear a single word the reactors are saying

Same, it’ll bring a swift end to my subscription here if this is how things will be handled moving forward. I really hate to be harsh on my favorite channel, but frankly I can barely afford food these days, so I’m not gonna sugarcoat my thoughts when I’m paying a monthly subscription for this. The watchalong is supposed to be easy money for the editor… basically no effort required beyond a timestamp and few seconds of audio for sync purposes…

I agree, I want minimal involvement from the editors on these, the timestamp and good reactor audio is the only thing I ask for, the movie and the settings around that are for me to sort out, any more involvement just complicates things for no reason and leads to issues like today

I understand I've been annoying today but I don't have the spare money to waste at the moment and it's frustrating seeing something that I pay for go from perfectly fine to not usable for me, thank you for being responsive and helpful
