I can’t get this new video format to go widescreen on my phone and that bums me out but the audio is better so there’s at least that. I think there should be a version with no audio that way I don’t have to match up my own version perfectly but I’ll take what I can get for now.

I couldn’t get it to go wide screen either so I just copied the link and put into google and I was able to put it wide screen

I haven't seen House of the Dragon so haven't watched the full reaction but I had a quick look at the changes to the format and I can say my only problem with the new format was the oval crop of the video. So this small change with the full square screen is in my opinion a big improvement.

This worked amazingly, audio balance was much better. Managed to sync up directly to the mirror of the video so audio was directly overlapping. Commentary was much better, John was definitely slightly louder than Greg, but probably the distance / positioning of mics so not a major issue and it seemed to change throughout the video. Still was able to hear them both over the episode of the show itself which is the main thing. This is probably the best of both formats old & new. A muted version would be cool, but after watching this episode of HotD, if you guys only do this format with these exact audio settings - it will be manageable. Thank you to you PLD for submitting the feedback, and to the editors who have to re-edit / render these videos for us to watch! If you could do this to GotG Vol 2 too, that would be appreciated. Sorry for being dramatic in previous comments.

I don't think we're going to be doing two versions. Just my thoughts. BUT i did request a fix for Guardians and Spider-Verse. - PLD

From the look of the comments, I can deduct that I saw the re-uploaded version where the sound of the show has been turned way down and to that end it worked well for me, having it on a second screen, while having the show on my TV, really appreciate it. I only miss the YouTube functionality, which allowed me to lock the screen and keep listening to the outro debate while doing other things. But if YouTube is being mean, I can’t fault you lovely guys and gals for ditching it.

When I click the link, it opens in my Google chrome on my android phone. I click the perforated square at the bottom right of the video and rotate my screen and I get the widescreen.

That's unfortunate. It would be so easy to mute the movie track and export. Then with the muted movie version staying on Patreon and the full on the main site. I do appreciate your efforts and actually listening to comments!

I was a big fan of Tara and Andrew’s GOT watch alongs. Are there any plans for them to do KOTSK and HOTD?

Not planned currently anytime soon but I would think that could happen again closer to the next season of one of them! - PLD
